| Have you ever known a family that does this? Even a family of 4 with one large pizza seems like a stretch to me. And I'm talking about 4-6 full grown people-think like 12 and up. Not toddlers. My husband was telling me that they always just got one pizza for their family of 6 and everyone was like vultures trying to get a second piece before someone else. They were not poor-quite the opposite actually. So bizarre to me as growing up my brother could easily eat 3-4 pieces himself. I can't imagine why you wouldn't get enough for everyone. FYI-my husband's family still often doesn't make/have enough food for holiday get togethers etc...I think some people just don't have any concept when it comes to food because otherwise they Are always extremely generous. We always make sure to get more than enough for everyone because we are paranoid. I also know 2 other family's who do the same same 1 large for a whole family pizza thing. Granted we always have leftovers-but that's the best part no? |
| We had seven, though the oldest was mostly gone in my childhood. So call it 6...we did two and usually had a couple of pieces left over. |
| I bet nobody was fat. |
| Are they wasps? |
My thought, too |
| yes. If you are still hungry you can have an apple, or several. |
| People weren't such pigs back in the day. You could have a slice of pizza for dinner and be fine. Nowadays, it's multiple slices of greasy pizza, breadsticks and a 16+oz soda. This is why most Americans are overweight. |
| Fine if the overall plan is to 1) finish it w/ no leftovers. 2) Eat something else if you still want more. 3) and depending where you are ordering from |

We only ever had one pizza and even that was a rare treat. Not much money for things like that but also would not have occurred to us to ask for more than the one slice.
It would have felt greedy. |
Yep, we'd have salad & green beans. Pizza was a part of the meal, not all of it. |
| Omg it's the green beans poster. The one who always has everything with green beans. She sure loves her green beans. But no pizza and green beans is not a thing except for you, weird lady. |
Yes! Gross |
+1 I went to a nutrition class that taught me that the appropriate serving of pizza for an adult is 1/3 of a slice. People eat too much pizza. |
Well now that's just ridiculous! My debate with myself when eating a frozen pizza is whether I should eat a third of it at one sitting, or half. Dilemma! Thankfully I don't eat pizza much. |
Literal LOL |
