I've never lived in MD so I didn't comment on MD. Not surprising though. I do live in VA and it's MUCH more prevelant than where I've lived previously (NY, CA). A bit of culture shock when I first moved here. |
How ignorant can you be? Apparently a lot. Tolerance means that you accept their right to listen or believe, it does not give them a right to inflict it on you against your will. If they opened a racist waterpark I wouldn't go. If they had waterpark that played obscene misogynistic music I wouldn't go. I don't buy it nor am I forced to. If that racist asshole with the tattoo's assaulted me verbally in a public venue it is infringing on my rights. If they want to get a permit and stand on a corner or march in their hoods, they have a right. But they can't decide to gather in my home or even in my backyard. That is a violation of my rights. Our freedoms are unlimited as they have boundaries. The tattooed man is offensive to me, but he is not infringing on my rights nor am I going to intolerantly try to force him to the corner for his beliefs. Too many people in this country trying to control others. |
Aren't unlimited.... |

Same dude? He's tatted with upside down cross, 666, and swastika.

How is going out in public with a tatoo that you know is going to piss off a majority of the population cowardly? I find it abhorrent as well, but cowardly is not the proper word here. |
I've lived in Virginia for 44 years and have never seen a swastika tattoo. |
