Excellent points.

OP: the tattoos are likely the result of being in a prison gang. While there is no excuse for such tattoos, please be aware that joining these gangs is often the only means of survive in prison.

Yes - he should be saving up his money to pay for tattoo removal procedures, but that is not easy to do when no one will hire you as a ex-convict.

Sheesh. I'm as PC and liberal as they come, but I believe it's perfectly OK to make assumptions about this guy and his beliefs. Nazi tattoos=racist. If the poor fella only got the tattoos to protect himself in prison, he would wear a shirt, wear a hat, and/or use a damn Sharpie marker to cover them in public. Step back and look at what you're doing:. You're making excuses for a swastika-sporting racist.

I keep hearing all these little ANTIFA snowflakes shouting "punch a facist/nazi/whatever they don't like in the face", and yet when a real, genuine nazi facist goes to a crowded water park, NO ONE punches said geniune nazi facist in the face.

That makes me laugh at you ANTIFA folks.

You're all bark and no bite.

Was the ACLU simply "making excuses" when it defended these slimeballs' right to assemble in public in National Socialist Party of America v. Village of Skokie?

I disagree. I think hateful people need to be shamed for their hate. They need to be called out for it, all the time, everywhere they go, by all the types of people.

Not necessarily confronting him directly, but reporting to an employee, or taking pictures and link the social media account of the park. If they don't already have a policy regarding neo-nazi tattoos, they'll come up with one very quickly after that.

Interestingly I never saw swastika tattoos before last year. They are definitely more brazen MAGA!

Oh please. Just what do you think the Waterpark is going to do? They will think OP is a loon. The guy is minding his own business. It's her who has her panties in a bunch. This is called freedom of speech and freedom of association. Most of the time you guys say you are "let and let live" until it is judging others. Then hoo-boy, you come out of that liberal bubble and want to judge everyone. It's an ancient symbol. Read up on it. You have no idea who he is or what is story is. Do you expect him to rip off his skin in front of you if you give him the evil eye or report him to park authorities? I imagine you have an enormous plank in your eye that you are ignoring right now.

That is a good point - I know several immigrants from India who wear/have worn jewelry with a swastica symbol.

We really do not know the persons' back-story in OP's account.

That's weird, you're saying ACLU defended them on the grounds that they're probably just prison tattoos necessary for their own protection in prison?

Pp is saying the swastika guy was probably not really a racist. That's quite ignorant. Would YOU show off a swastika tattoo? I don't know the details of the case you're citing, but it sounds as if the ACLU was defending the neo Nazis because they had a right to assemble there? Or, are you saying the ACLU was defending them because they're? too poor to get proper tattoo removal?

Then you have only recently emerged from your basement or had your eyesight restored. It more likely it's your form of partisan BS though.

That won't be helpful and guess what, people like that are crazy and your ridiculous mumbling does nothing but put you in harm's way.

I'm ok with that risk. I can throw a little crazy back his way.

Girlfriend you are a suburban mom in a Lands End tankini. This is a white supremacist. Please put your earrings back on and stop acting tough on the internet .

You know nothing about me.

I have an AA child. This would ruin the waterpark experience for me. It just would, even though the guy is not doing anything.
Just like when I was in DC last year and there was a man holding a sign saying " God hates Fags" I was with DD and it just gives you a bad feeling....

There are plenty of people without tattoos who are racists, they just? don't advertise it, but live their whole life along those lines (white neighborhood, white schools, white fitness clubs, basically token minorities only here and there in their life). You would never know, but openly expressing one guy will ruin the experience?

Water parks are gross. Just another reason not to visit them

+1. As a mom of mixed race kids myself, I would much rather know that someone is a tool and avoid them than invest time and energy only to find out later.

So you won't confront him directly but want a teenager working an $8hour summer job to do it?

Deplorable try for a strawman.

That teenager has a boss who should know the park policy about hate speech, and can summon park security.
