Perhaps Hunter and Hallie were "good" friends before Beau's death. Kathleen probably knows.

I have met them. I have spent time with their extended family. They are down to earth, very genuine people. Years later, his sister remembered me and chatted my mom up about how I was doing.

i can't speak for his sons, but joe, Jill and Valerie are all fantastic.

I can speak to Beau. I met him when he was working on a case as a young AUSA. He appeared before a very tough judge who seemed to be giving him an especially hard time. I didn't spend extended time with him like the above PP spent with his family, but I was impressed. He handled himself very well and was pleasant to all involved. You could tell he was going places (on his own merit). Very sad loss that he died so young.

Maybe she left him? Maybe they were dealing with marital problems before Beau died? I have no idea what caused them to split up. If Kathleen was blind sided by an affair that would be awful and I would feel for her. But if Kathleen and Hunter were already having marital issues and needed to go their separate ways then that would be something else entirely.

I'm actually not taking sides in this at all. I don't know enough about their split to really have an opinion.

There is plenty reason to believe Hunter wrongfully hurt Kathleen. We have zero evidence that she was the wrongdoer.
