The show is a bit slow, I wish the storylines moved along faster, but I like it enough to keep watching.

Man I hope so, because leaving Milo for that is indefensible.

She was still wearing the necklace that Milo gave her, I also thought maybe he died. Can't wait for next week!

Of course the implication is that the dad died - seems unlikely that she'd still wear the necklace if the parents got divorced. And it is only two episodes in - how can you say it is slow?! If everything was explained by now, it would be a one season show .

I think this series shows good promise!

I didn't notice the necklace while watching so it was not obvious to me. Yeah, I get it's only 2 episodes in, just feels slow moving to me so far.

I think it MIGHT be a one season show - how will they sustain a big plot twist in each episode for multiple seasons?

Maybe the other guy killed the dad (or had him killed) because he was jealous of him. This is TV.

They don't need a big plot twist in every episode...they just need viewers to think there MIGHT be one. Shows like Parenthood (This is Us' replacement series) never had many plot twists. The twists are just to get initial interest...then the characters and day-to-day storylines will keep it going. Just like any other drama series.

...and, you've got fat issues, race issues, a few hot men, a gay man(?), marriage problems, birth father issues, etc. There's a lot to keep it going on for a few years.

Da-da-da-dummmm
Maybe Milo wasn't the dad at all, but the other guy is, and the other guy killed him after it became clear that the triplets weren't so little and Mandy had more time to fulfill his needs.

Wait - who's the gay man?

Wait - who's the gay man?

That was just my speculation about the actor brother....since we can speculate here.

**************** SPOILER ALERT ********************

I'm quite certain the dad is dead. Why else would she still be wearing the necklace while married to Miguel. Also, the kids call him Grandpa. If the real Grandpa was still alive, I doubt Miguel would get the honors.

He gets the honors because he's their biological father. All 3 of them. He was having an affair with the mom AND sleeping with Randall's drug addicted mother. He then killed the dad and let Randall's mother die of a drug overdose while he watched.

I think so too. My theory is that Jack became an alcoholic and died of gastric cancer like Randall's biological dad is now.

This was my first sign that something was "off" in the show.

The father cut the doctor off...it sounded like he was hell bent on having a vaginal delivery. He knew the risks but interrupted the doctor when he brought it up.

Yes - this.
