A year too short. I'm 37 and saw it in second grade.

Maybe the character was gifted.
Maybe there was a weird cut off date for school? My 11th grader is 16, he has a january birthday and is almost a year old than some of his peers who have December birthdays.

I'm very happy for the actor who plays Kevin (I think that's his name). He was on young and the restless and he's great!

I'm 39 and was in 4th grade for challenger. Should have been in 3rd, but skipped k.

Well, I'm hooked. The only thing I thought was inaccurate was that the people's clothes in the hospital at the end looked more 1975 than 1980.

I agree. That last scene in the hospital looked circa 1969.

I didn't get it until the cop started smoking. I literally thought "what a coincidence" about the baby that was left at the fire station. Then he smokes and I'm like NO WAY WE ARE IN DIFFERENT YEARS HERE! It was great.

break this down for me. So mandy moore and her husband are the parents of the three main characters. So whenever they are on its essentially a flashback?

Didn't see the end coming and I just loved it!!!!

I'm pregnant and I bawled through much of the episode. Not sure if I'll be able to keep watching, but I liked it. And I didn't see the twist coming.

Nope, people still looked like it was the 70s in 1980.

I loved it, but was baffled as to why they didn't do a csection from the beginning (sounds like the doctor knew a baby wasn't in the right position). Did they not do csections for multiples in 1980?

My MIL had one in 1977 for multiples.

I'm the first PP. I was 13 in 1980. I know for a fact that ponchos were "out."

I agree that it looked more like the 1970s. But I wonder if it might have been and the show will go a little ahead of time too, meaning that what now looks like present day may be 2012 or '14. That could help explain the Challenger timing.

I missed the episode, but every article I read stated that the kids were born in 1979...so that fixes the Challenger thing a bit.
