If you blame DB for being immoral and having sex outside of marriage, then maybe you are right. However, in this instance, he was actually duped and used for sex by a very disturbed teen. He should have sued her and her parents.

Huh? It sounds as though this girl said she was propositioned by Bowie two times, 5 months apart. The first time she said "no" and the second time she and her friend said "yes". The girl was seeking Bowie out, not the other way around and it is quite possible he didn't even remember her from the time before and had no clue that she was underage. He was in his 20's, he was single and he was probably having casual sex with ready and willing groupies on a pretty regular basis. She was just one of many. That is just a guess.

I think it's terrible that such a young girl was in a situation like that but I think it is a pretty HUGE reach to suggest that Bowie was the one who placed her in that situation. It really sounds as though she had neglectful adult supervision and was star struck. At any rate, I think most performers have staff now that more carefully screen who gets back to see the star so that this sort of thing does not happen.
