NP here. She made a typo. Stop your cheap analysis. If you have facts, post them.

Concerns are brought to and dealt with by the administration in a reasonable way, no different than at my other child's school. There are 10-15 students at Ncs and probably 15-20 students at sta who are the students involved in this document and engaging in behaviors like this. It is not the entire community. Parents need to do more monitoring at home and the admin does need to do better, but it should not be said they aren't trying or do not care. I am applauded by the parents of a lot of kids involved. They are overgrown teenagers themselves who either want to be popular and fun parents or who are such self centered a-holes they aren't noticing their teens getting blackout drunk in their basements(where they have entertaining kitchens with stocked bars). I also thought the letter home was completely reasonable - talk to your children and know where they hell they are. Teens lie. Parents need to know that and parent them with eyes wide open. It's too bad 35 kids are ruining the classes of 2017 at sta and Ncs. There are so many good kids in those grades who should be celebrated but the popular kids really ruin it for everyone. Also the kids who left from her grade were the type of kid, who according to my dd, would have been at the center of this drama.

This is ridiculous. Class of 2012 was the same. Class of 2013 was the same. And on and on. The school does nothing about it

**STA boys

The fact you made this easy - and yet obvious - mistake, previous poster, makes me unfortunately question the veracity of your previous posts. In other words, it does not seem like the kind of mistake that someone with actual involvement in that school community would probably make.

You've never made the mistake of typing or saying something on your mind as opposed to what you intended to say?

I'm not PP but this is ridiculous.

How so? How were these other classes the same?

I think the real problem is that NCS rewards these girls with awards at Flag day. So the students who have been more disciplined are not as popular with the administration. There is definitely an unequal response from the administration for transgressions. Has been for years. It makes the girls lose respect for the school.

That is complete and utter bull. On what basis do you claim that these are the girls who get rewarded at Flag Day? Names and details, or you are just spreading vicious rumors about girls and should be utterly ashamed of yourself.

Worst kind of internet speculation right here on this thread. You should all be ashamed.

Names and details? In order to not fuel internet speculation? Hmmm.

Point is the administration plays favorites and rewards girls they like often children of the parents they like.

Yes, you have shamed me. I am deeply ashamed. I will slink away and never speak again.

Crossing STA off the list of possible schools for DS.

My point is that innuendo ruins reputations, and you are not worthy of respect if you continue to spread unfounded rumors. You have a serious problem, lady. You - not the school. The school is dealing with typical teenage crap. You are the only person gleefully using a situation where girls are victims in order to attack not only the administrators, but previous classes of girls.

Simply put, I cannot imagine how awful a person you must be.

I do not care what you think or believe. I think you might be a little simple and think you can guess which persons posted several posts. You may be mistaken.

Oh, believe me, this is a blanket indictment of you and anyone else posting speculative crap. People like you are what's worst about the Internet. And I al only simple in that I have a strict moral code - one that doesn't include gossip. I know, that makes me anathema to mean girls like you, who wield information and misinformation in a desperate attempt to seek powerful. Alas, you are merely more pathetic.

Great not a mean girl got it. You seem lovely. And your moral code seems perfect.

This topic seems like a Christmas gift for: 1) those with a chip on their shoulder when it comes to the Cathedral schools; 2) opponents of single-sex education; and 3) opponents of independent schools. Merry Christmas.

Maybe it's also a gift for girls at NCS; maybe the community will be more aware of the challenges they face?
