I have pcos that's being managed
They said I almost set record for their clinic which was 43
I got 36 eggs but only 16 mature enough to fertilize 10 did transferred 2 great looking 3 day embies bfn we froze one good looking one and I asked to freeze all. It's my money. So we transferred 2 in FET. Pretty sure the good one took. Resulted in dd 6 mos old. Not sure I'd ever want to do another cycle after so much. Considering adoption down the line. Listen you can have many eggs but they need to be good. You can have perfect eggs with no abnormality and they don't implant. It's a numbers game for us all and much luck.

Age 30. Stage 4 endo. 9 retrieved yesterday 7 mature and 6 fertilized with ICSI. Have my fingers crossed and waiting to see how many turn into blasts. Will know by saturday. Very confused about Doing PGD testing. Also heard that sometime doing a frozen transfer is better than fresh because body gets some rest. Is it true??

I don't think it's a "body rest" issue. Rather it is better control over hormones, lining etc. I did hear frozen success rates are good and sometimes a bit better than fresh.

13 follicles retrieved. 9 were mature. 6 fertilized with ICSI.
4 embryos made it to Day 5; We transferred 2. BFN. The clinic kept an eye on the 2 remaining embryos one more day to see if they would make it to freeze. They did not.

Round 2:
19 retrieved, 12 mature, 8 fertilized with ICSI
Six embryos made it to Day 5. We transferred 3 blastocysts. The other three didn't make it overnight, so again, nothing to freeze.
BFN

First round I had 19 eggs, 15 mature, 14 fertilized (with donor sperm), and 6 made it to blastocyst stage on day 6 to be frozen (for genetic screening). I wanted to do a second round of retrieval and send all embryos for genetic testing at once, so today 20 eggs were retrieved. I guess in 2-3 weeks I'll know how many of the embryos are healthy and start on FET. Encouraging to read how many of your 40+ moms have had success. I opted to do the genetic screening because my mother and paternal grandmother had way too many miscarriages and I wanted to avoid that, to any extent possible. Also wanted to get all the eggs upfront, before I get any older.

Same boat. Doing embryo banking to test 8 with PGS.
Just turned 40.

What were your PGS results?

Should have stated this was IVF round #1 with ICSI due to male factor (DH is 42)
