Political Discussion
if you don't want to have an abortion, then don't have one. You do not have the right to impose your moral values or any other values, on to others. |
If somebody decides to kill a family member of mine, I have the right to speak against that murder. This is no different. And that’s why I can’t accept the left. And since I don’t respect the right, I’m left without a party. |
Wow, hateful hyperbole and lies is all you have. Sad. |
So you want to control your your sisters, daughters, and nieces? Lovely. You fail to recognize that lack of abortion access may actually kill them, and prevent them from getting pregnant in the future >> https://idahocapitalsun.com/2024/11/12/four-women-challenge-idahos-abortion-ban-in-court/. |
If “controlling others” looks like not accepting murder, then I guess you’re correct. People should not be allowed to kill others. You’ve decided to twist reality to accept the killing of the very young. I have not. We have a shared history of deciding who is “less than”, and therefore doesn’t deserve human rights and dignity. In our current era, it’s the unborn. I refuse to accept that there’s a group among us that can be murdered to the tune of over a million a year. And let’s not distort reality here. Only 1-3% of abortions are performed because the mother’s life is at risk. And in those cases, an abortion may be an option; in the case of an ectopic pregnancy, both mother and child WILL die. Saving one is better than saving neither. That’s what respecting life looks like. But in 97% of cases, this isn’t even an issue. - woman who still mourns her ectopic pregnancy |
maybe we can be like my mother's home country, modeled after the US and extremely conservative Catholic. Abortion is illegal under all circumstances. But a blind eye is turned to rampant cases of rape and human trafficking, many of which are western men. They impregnate adolescent girls, teenagers, who end up dealing with complications in pregnancy and up to 16 children by the time they're 21. Thanks to the radical left, they at least have free BCP for the past 9 years, to the dismay of those who think BCP is abortion too.

No. The left wing talks more about trans issues. All they did was gaslight half the be population with their delusional bs. |
WRONG! The right wing literally made it their top legislative agenda item, with something like 47 laws passed nationally and at the state level, whereas for about all they have is stuff like "don't be a mean bigoted jerk to trans people" somewhere down below #73 in their platform. You're ludicrous, and a liar, PP. That's not "gaslighting" - that's a fact. |

This is your twisted framing, and very different. You are choosing to wedge yourself into other peoples business. |
LOL. You're a cliche. Everyone else's abortion is evil, but yours is fine. |
Are you denying trans existance? I'd hope not. Are you denying BLM and defund the police? Really? After Derek Chavuin? https://blacklivesmatter.com/toolkit/talking-points-for-defund-the-police-week/ We didn't have all those people under the bridge in those famous pictures? SCOTUS is dealing with the asylum issue: https://www.scotusblog.com/2026/03/justices-to-consider-the-rights-of-asylum-seekers-at-the-u-s-mexico-border/ What lies are there? What hyperbole? |
| The trans debate seems to be receding into the distance, I think. |
Cori Bush and Sherrod Brown are very different and lost their seats for very different reasons. Please don’t compare him to her. |
Neil Gorsuch wrote the Supreme Court’s decision that did that. |
