When will Fairfax County residents learn that Descano is bad news?

I don’t think the governor has the legal authority to remove an elected commonwealth attorney for their position. She could encourage him to resign though.

The combination of introduction of new taxes, and the obscene raise of other taxes in Northern Virginia, in combination with the policy of not prosecuting anything, or anyone, and letting so many repeat offenders walk around, whether illegally here or not, has got to get people fed up. Vote these people out!

MEET Akuamoa Boateng!

He has had FIFTY CHARGES and a dozen arrests in Fairfax just since 2023

Descano has dropped ALL charges including TWO ATTEMPTED MURDER charges

Assaults, home invasion, firearm possession, drug possession—ALL DROPPED because oh, he’s an illegal immigrant

Acuamoa for President!

+1, this is very clear explanation of what is happening. A federal warrant is not required, that is a requirement she is choosing to impose on ICE. The idea that law enforcement cannot alert ICE when someone ICE has an administrative warrant for is taken into custody on state criminal charges is asinine. ICE should have been informed when Jalloh was taken into custody so that they could lodge the appropriate detainer, ensuring that when Descano ultimately cut him loose (because everyone knew that would be the end result) ICE could come get him before he hit the streets again.

Fairfax actually turned Jalloh over to ICE in 2018. They cooperated. ICE had him. They weren't able to deport him and released him after 2 years. I think rather than just blaming Descano there needs to be an honest conversation about how multiple agencies failed to handle this guy. It seems outrageous.

The home country refused to accept him. Administration has now found third countries who will. Of course, the Dems don't like that either.

Honestly, nobody cares about people like this man. Only the fringiest of people care what happens to convicted violent criminals. And that's a very small group of people.

You think ICE had no other opportunity to detain and deport him since 2018? This is EXACTLY the kind of person they claim they want to go after.

Fairfax could have jailed him many, many times.

The home country refused to accept him. Administration has now found third countries who will. Of course, the Dems don't like that either.

They released him after 2 years due to a court order to do so.
And, as a pp said - Trump now is deporting people to a third country. And, in many of these cases, lawsuits have been brought to prevent it.

This is the bottom line.
The perverted policies being pushed by these politicians don't directly impact them or the wealthy people that bankroll them.
They are insulated from their decisions.

Bc in many cases the third country deportation is being used to circumvent the asylum process. I think the issue is with the blanket policy. The Administration isn't going after the violent criminals they promised- instead they are just interested in numbers to rile up the MAGA base. Trust me, ICE could have found this guy in Fairfax if they really wanted to, and started the process to remove him to a third country, once that option was on the table.

Here are two very impactful interactions during testimony today.

McCLINTOCK: Mr. Miyares, we keep hearing from Sheriff Kincaid among others that they'd be happy to respond to a federal judicial warrant to honor a detainer request. Well, is a federal judicial warrant possible to obtain in a state crime?

MIYARES: No, it's not—and they know this.

(Descano and Kincaid brazenly lie because they know the public won't know better)

It was nice to see Descano have to face the music today. Sadly it won’t amount to anything because the democrats is FFX Will never admit and take responsibility for the damage their politicians have done to the region.

I have personally seen lifelong FFX county democrats leave the area and within months abandon all of the crazy political views they held while they lived here.
