From my view republicans are pretty much fine with anything Trump does as long as the economy is humming along and they are getting richer. He could actually murder someone in broad daylight or sexually assault someone and they probably wouldn’t care.

I don’t believe that Trump is a pedophile, although he may be a rapist.

No, I am not fine with him deporting all brown people, but I have much less heartburn about deporting persons here illegally.

I don’t particularly like Trump but simply thought he was a better option than Harris based on my policy positions. I still feel that way and would vote for him again.

How do you feel about his approach to governing and decision-making?
Would you trust him to run your company?
Would you trust him to be alone with the women in your life?
Do you think he’s a good role model for young adults and children?

Trump is unsophisticated but shrewd enough to understand power and what motivates people.

Trump would not be my first choice to run my company, but I would choose him over Harris in most cases.

Yes I would trust him to be around women and children.

Any person who manages to be elected President twice has some positive traits.

My opinion of Trump does not matter because it has no power to seat/unseat a president. Just because Trump acts like a Democrat does not mean I will stop supporting the Republican party. If Trump is removed, it will be president Vance. If Trump stays, more Liberals implode, some by self-immolation, some to live in a mental asylum which is what the Democratic party looks like to me: a loony bin full of weird-haired circus freaks screaming about pronouns.

Win-Win.

On immigration - are you ok with ICE rounding up all brown people and holding them/deporting them with no due process?
It is not about brown people—way to go supporting that stupid narrative, it is about waves of lawless invaders crossing our borders which is illegal to do regardless of skin color.

The equivalent of due process is served if a person is in this country without a visa or proper authorization. Not being able to speak English along with no identification means Uncle Sam’s big boot goes right into your butt and out the door you go. Good-bye and good riddance!
From my view republicans are pretty much fine with anything Trump does as long as the economy is humming along and they are getting richer. He could actually murder someone in broad daylight or sexually assault someone and they probably wouldn’t care.
Anything Trump does is 10,000 times better than anything the Democrats would do. In some cases, Trump is the lesser of two evils.

The Democratic party is the party of murder, sexual deviance, and perversion. It is soft on crime, giving light sentences or none at all for those who do evil.

Calling Democrats the “party of perversion and crime” is projection at best and propaganda at worst. Let’s unpack the irony:

- 34-time FELON Donald Trump has been found liable for sexual abuse and defamation by a jury in the E. Jean Carroll case, and ordered to pay over $88 million in damages. That’s not hearsay or fake news, it’s a legal verdict.

- More than 25 women have publicly accused Trump of sexual misconduct, including rape, groping, and walking in on underage pageant contestants.

- Republican leaders defended Roy Moore, a Senate candidate accused of pursuing teenage girls when he was in his 30s.

- Dennis Hastert, the longest-serving Republican Speaker of the House, admitted to sexually abusing teenage boys and paid hush money to cover it up.

- Matt Gaetz, a sitting Republican congressman, is under investigation for sex trafficking of a minor.

If you want to talk about “perversion,” start with the party that keeps elevating men with credible sexual abuse allegations and covering them up, as Republicans are currently doing with the Epstein files.

As for crime? Democratic-led cities have seen drops in violent crime, and Democratic lawmakers have passed bipartisan legislation to fund police and reform sentencing. Meanwhile, Republicans push fear-based narratives while opposing gun safety laws that could actually reduce crime.

And on immigration: ICE under Trump has violated due process repeatedly, detaining migrants without hearings, deporting them to third countries with as little as six hours’ notice, and even arresting people inside courthouses without warrants. That’s not law and order—it’s authoritarianism.

So no, Democrats aren’t the party of crime or perversion. They’re the party trying to fix broken systems while Republicans defend abusers, ignore court rulings, and weaponize cruelty for political gain.

No one thinks a NY jury is capable of applying the law correctly any more than people are persuaded by so-called "credible" allegations of sexual assault. Those words no longer have meaning because Democrats have corrupted our systems.

Karma can be a biatch for you and all the females in your life. How could you be so dismissive and disgusting of all those women who finally came out of the shadows to testify under oath against predator trump.

This type of stuff doesn't happen to the women in my life, and I don't find the gang-piling to make their allegations more credible.

If you want to convince me you can tell credible accusations apart from bad ones, please tell me the best reasons why Christine Ford's allegations likely lacked merit?

You are utterly delusional. One in three women in the United States have been sexually assaulted or raped at some point in their life, and that statistic is based on the girls/women who report the assaults. I don’t care to convince you of anything because I cannot continue to engage with someone who chooses to be willfully ignorant.

More than one in three statistics is not well-supported. I don't know which study you're citing, but my strong hunch, is that among many other problems with that study, the authors used an absurdly broad definition of sexual assault so people who lack critical thinking skills would regurgitate it instead of determining it is actually true.

You're welcome to call me ignorant, but if you show me the study, I'll dig in and report back. One of us is interested in debate. You seem more interested in diagnosing me to avoid debate.

You literally won't even bother to do a basic Google search to find a study and tell us how it supports your implication that sexual assault doesn't happen or only happens to "those" women? I don't think you fully understand how ignorant and ridiculous you sound to those of us whose friends have trusted us enough to tell us about being assaulted.

I know what the studies say. They're not scientific. I know you trust the authority because the authors have credentials, but the truth is unless one is smart enough, she has a hard time seeing the systemic issues affecting social sciences today. University degrees for folks with 115 IQs has been an abject disaster.

But I'll give you a study: Look at the WHO study that says 1/4 women and says sex where the woman has been "manipulated" counts. Uh huh, that's not sexual assault. That's regret.

That is because you aren’t a woman or a child and you are more than willing to allow women and children to get trampled on to save yourself and your company.

I bet you see yourself as a “protector” all the while not understanding that protecting your money and power isn’t anything but self serving.

Trump isn’t really shrewd and you will hate my post because it IS shrewd.

And I do not support your view of women that women will lie to men if the men do not agree with them. Maybe you do that, but not all women are like that. In my experience, however, women lie when they want to distract from their own misconduct. If you start pulling at that thread, you end up with Christine Ford-like stories, which is probably why you are attacking me instead of engaging in debate.

You are proving my point over and over again.

I’m not saying the women in your life are always lying to you. I’m saying if you ask directly about the topic of sexual assault, a woman in your life will not answer you that they have experienced that even if you have.

You are saying “women lie when they want to distract from their own misconduct”. Which is just like saying “she was assaulted because her skirt was too short and a man saw her breasts and was unable to control himself because of misconduct”

Bye now- we are just going to continue to disagree and this conversation can only devolve from here.

Do men need all of society to support them in their ability to manage themselves around women?

Your argument is predicated on the idea that men are infantile beings who need physical barriers to keep themselves from attacking women. Maybe instead of just enabling your fellow men to be snowflakes and melt all reason away to impulses around women, you could also try telling men they should control themselves.

I really really really hope you do not have a daughter.

Or a son. We don’t need another abuser.

On immigration - are you ok with ICE rounding up all brown people and holding them/deporting them with no due process?

Np here. Wow. Why exactly would you choose him over Harris?

NP. I absolutely chose him over Harris and would do so again. Multiple reasons, the border and immigration being number one. But right up there is his halting of the madness of "gender care" for minors, and his support for keeping men out of women's sports and spaces.

Gender care for minors and men in women’s sports? Such small numbers.
Your post smacks of no empathy for anyone different than yourself. How sad.

PP was referring the the original question about choosing Trump to run your company, not choosing him in an election scenario.

[b]And ICE is identifying and arresting those in the country illegally. That includes people of all different skin colors. Why do you object to people here illegally being deported?

A large number of the Venezuelan immigrants recently released from maximum security prison in El Salvador were LEGAL immigrants, not illegal, and have never been accused of any crime.

They came to the US legally and were following the rules diligently, without doing anything wrong, and the Trump administration gathered them up and deported them to a concentration camp, where they were abused on a daily basis.

Why don't you object to these atrocities?
