Conservatives of DCUM - where do you draw the line?

On immigration - are you ok with ICE rounding up all brown people and holding them/deporting them with no due process?

From my view republicans are pretty much fine with anything Trump does as long as the economy is humming along and they are getting richer. He could actually murder someone in broad daylight or sexually assault someone and they probably wouldn’t care.

There is no low too low for MAGA

Many, many modern Americans turn a blind eye and would rather be cheerleaders for a side than operate on principle.

Look at how conservatives threw away their need for dignity to back Trump (though to be fair to them, many Republicans couldn't take the lack of decorum and were/are "never Trump"

Look at how democrats, who purport to care about abuse and sexual misconduct ignored Biden's creepy behavior towards children--caught on camera, no less-- to just scream about Trump.

There are few people who really are about policies. It's always "Oh yeah, well the other guy is a WORSE deviant/thief/liar so MY deviant/thief/liar is a hero!"

smh.

"Biden's a creepy pedo" is one of the stupidest manufactured outrages the right came up with over Biden. Complete with faked videos. If it were real and actually a thing there never would have been a need to fake it.

Biden did the whole sniffing women and girls his entire career. Stop the gaslighting.

Oh, there’s a line—they just redraw it every time their guy crosses it.

Sexual assault? “Gray area.”
Child trafficking? “Complicated.”
Bribery, blackmail, obstruction? “Fake news.”

As long as the system is being “disrupted” in their favor, suddenly everything becomes negotiable. You could find Epstein’s name tattooed on someone’s ledger in blood and they’d still ask, “But did you see the plane logs?”

And when cornered? The attitude is dismissive or defensive as they fall back on The First “Lady” (Skank) Melania’s infamous shrug. “Boys will be boys.” “I dont really care, do you?” while bringing up political grievances harbored from past administrations. They are bitter.

Here’s the problem: Bad parenting isn’t illegal. Being a skanky escort isn’t illegal. Rape is. Sexual exploitation is. Human trafficking is.

What we’re witnessing isn’t a lack of evidence—it’s a lack of will. A.LACK.OF.WILL. When your tribe controls the files, the framing, and the fallout, accountability becomes optional.

That’s not a justice system. That’s a protection racket wrapped in a flag and baptized in selective outrage.

You as a democrat are going to lecture anyone on human trafficking?

That's like a pillar of your party, FFS. Cartels, Coyotes, Rape Trees, Alejandro Mayorkas, Smuggling with a wink and a nod?

I’m not a Democrat. Nor a dimwit. I’m an Independent—strategically so. I’ve been registered with both major parties at different points, but I vote based on policy, not personality. My allegiance is to whichever candidate or party is best equipped to address domestic and global challenges during their term.

If human trafficking is a “pillar” of any political party, then tear it down—forcefully and responsibly. But let’s not be lazy about it. Dismantle the system with a plan so we’re not just setting fire to institutions and expecting justice to rise from the ashes.

I support the deportation of undocumented immigrants who commit violent or predatory crimes. I also support sanctuary cities and vetted asylum policies for those fleeing legitimate danger. It’s called nuance—something cable news and partisan echo chambers have long abandoned.

You don’t get to cherry-pick your outrage. Either you care about justice or you don’t. The rest is tribal noise.

Love,
An American Independent 🇺🇸

Narrator: the person you are responding to doesn't actually care about justice and doesn't know the meaning of the word "nuance"

Thank you. My sincere hope is that the person I was responding to doesn’t reflect the reasoning process of most Americans.

It would be refreshing if more people not only recognized nuance—but also knew what to do with it.

That’s how real solutions begin.

Screw your nuance. It's a mask for pushing your one-world, no borders, and soft on crime agenda.

Been there, done that.

You gave a BS statement. This is what you want to believe about Dems, but it isn't true. What is a one world, no borders, soft on crime? No borders? Just like Trump is not all Rs, Biden was not all Ds. One world? Soft on crime? Where is that legislation?

Economy - dems favored every single time. The economy is not growing. People are not spending. Houses are sitting. College grads can't find jobs. Is that what you signed up for?

I know. You signed up for endless Quantitative Easing, money creation and a systematic devaluing of our currency to keep the music going. I didn't.

People shouldn't be spending. They're far in debt. You didn't get the memo?

The days of massive spending to buy wind turbines, solar panels and batteries from China have come to an end. You want green energy, pay for it yourselves without massive government subsidies.

You really are clueless. Clean energy companies opened 46 manufacturing plants in the US last year. Another 160 were either permitted or starting construction. That was all the IRA. We were the only industry bringing jobs back. So subsidies for coal and oil and gas are fine, but not clean energy? Clean energy is the fastest to deploy. Your bills are going up. The truth is, when Rs complained about Solyndra going bankrupt under Obama, what they didn't realize was that China bought their assets and improved upon them. They bought many US companies on the brink of creating the best technology. We ceded the industry to China. That's why they have the best technology. We were getting it back until Trump. Yay! We get to go back to the 50s and the rest of the world is looking to the future.

Yes, IRA as in the 'Inflation Reduction Act". Think of it. The government decides we need more spending on what we clearly don't need. Then it creates money out of thin air and calls it an inflation reduction measure.

Brilliant.

Are you talking about the Inflation Reduction Act that provided monies that GOP politicians who voted against it are taking credit for? That bill? Or the Infrastructure Act where they are literally at Ribbon Cuttings for project they voted against?

I'm talking about the Inflation Reduction Act. A spending bill touted as inflation reduction is an oxymoron.

Except it did reduce inflation. Compare the US inflation rate to the rest of the world post-COVID.

No, the IRA did NOT reduce inflation. Is this rocket science to you?
