It doesn't really matter what "it" is - if you are sick the right thing to do is to protect others from getting sick. If you are an employer, the right thing to do is to provide sick leave or generous solutions to allow people to rest and not spread without risking their financial health as well.
Masks are easy to wear and readily available. If you must go out to renew your driver's license or pick up food wear one, wash your hands, minimize your time by ordering ahead (you can do this without paying extra at some places) and don't expose others. Work from home. I still test for Covid because there are some unknowns with it, and it IS different than a cold (pathogenically, symptoms, what we know about it, etc...). I currently have it and am working from home and doing all I can to not expose my family because they need to keep working and doing what they are doing. We are privilged to be able to have separate bathrooms, order food, etc... so it's easy. Since it's easy for me, I do what I can. |
Back? It never left.
I still mask in closed public spaces even if I'm the only one. However interestingly enough I'm seeing more masks now because this new strain is pretty violent. I can't understand why people want many, many covid infections over and over again given the fact it really does a number on your heart, brain and body. It's pretty stupid. |
I don't test for flu or covid (but vaccinate for both.) It's not going to change the treatment - I'm going to rest and hydrate and treat symptoms with OTC but I'm not going to take any Rx medication. When I feel better I will resume my normal life. |
Wait - are people really still this panicked in 2025? |
You don’t need to go out when sick. Have everything delivered. It’s really crummy. |
People cough for all kinds of reasons. You are the problem. You take off your mask to eat and drink. |
It’s like you didn’t read the thread! |
Well they don’t. And, my kid has Covid now. Which person here can we thank. I don’t even do things like haircuts anymore. |
WAIT - are people still thinking there are no long term effects on their body from multiple covid infections?! |
I still haven’t gotten COVID afaik. |
