Its quite obnoxious for these store to attempt to "reserve" huge swaths of parking for pickup. It inconveniences everyone else- our lot is always jammed. I will park in the first spot I see. Sorry not sorry.
Target has two long rows reserved for pick up. There is never anyone in them. I wouldn’t park there but it seems like poor customer service. They also don’t have self checkout open anymore when o go and the checkers are so slow so I really try to just over order from amazon now.
+2. I’ve given up on Target. Between the empty “reserved for pick up” spaces, closing the self-checkout line after years of forcing people to use it (“oh, people were stealing”—no s*it, Sherlock, nobody saw that coming) and, my personal favorite, get a $15 Target gift card for spending $50 on household items. However, I buy $100 worth and can’t get 2 $15 cards unless the cashier splits it into two transactions. Which the cashier does upon request. However, it’s poor customer service. Why not just take $15 (or $30) off the bill? Why bother with the gift cards (which also can’t be used in the same transaction to lower the bill)?
because a large percentage of gift cards don't get used.
