Besides, Trump's gonna defund any college that might've been worth going to for the academics.

Rich conservatives will just own the fact that they're rich and they think they're better because of it. No need to waste money buying a diploma.

I have a family member who went the trades route; we are middle class and he is happy, but says it's tough working with a lot of people who have no intellectual curiosity at all. It's why he's doing so well: he will actually look up information.

My MAGA colleague, a holder of an Ivy League undergraduate degree (not Cornell) and very brilliant with numbers is sending his firstborn to a Catholic university out in VA. I’ve never heard of it. It’s called Christiandom College.

I understand how they work. Do you? Endowments usually come from money contributed to the university by people who attribute their wealth and success to the education they obtained from the university, not from "rich people paying full tuitions in order to subsidize poor students."

I feel sorry for that kid. I've been hiring manager for many hires and I'd roll my eyes and take a hard pass seeing something like Christendom College on a resume. And I'm not by any stretch anti-Catholic, as I'm Catholic, myself. If on the other hand it were a respectable Jesuit university like Georgetown, Boston College, Holy Cross, Loyola I'd give it a close look.

Colleges will all be religious with Catholic being the most prominent they already have a pipeline.

Catholics are about 1/4 of the population of America they will be the holders of the Maturnity homes ie Project 2025. They have already started building them in Oklahoma, MO, Idaho and Ohio.

I feel sorry for that kid. I've been hiring manager for many hires and I'd roll my eyes and take a hard pass seeing something like Christendom College on a resume. Are the students that were born into families that are actively supporting this destruction of Harvard going to also support the destruction of Harvard?

In that case, why would the admissions committee want them to be coming to Harvard and why would they even apply?
