So if America’s favor is turning away from its most elite private schools, where are employers, students and parents looking instead? Never thought of Ivies, with maybe the exception being Dartmouth, as coddling. I would envision the "nurturing" and "caring" SLACs so many are fond of fall into coddling terroritory.
