Please. VYS is a joke and I have friend's kids who play there. Even they know McLean is a powerhouse and VYS is not. VYS won't even scrimmage or play against McLean because they're too scared to lose (not just the game, but their players). Been this way for years. VYS is a small club with an even smaller player base.

There are very few female coaches and it shouldn't matter. A good coach is a good coach male or female. Second, the fields are owned by the counties not the club.

I care because my DD plays for one of these clubs’ pre-ECNL team (not McLean) and so will be impacted directly or indirectly as players migrate to different clubs, as she was by all the changes last year. Some sniffles, but otherwise in good health, thanks for asking.

They are the ones forcing clubs to form alliances…or your club for not being able to field Full Ecnl teams…

The clubs took the deal. The league forced them to merge the boys programs to stay in, but they didn’t have to. Blame union and brave leadership for being so terrible that the league made them merge.

Nearly half of the McLean girls were Vienna players. Now going to GA 2.0 will pretty much stop the theft of players and many will even try to return.

Rankings app also has McLean 2013s top 10 in nation, based on league and tournament results. Who knows if they’re really top 10–most “great” teams from the DMV don’t look so good when they play teams from CA and TX—but McLean 2013s are clearly a notch above the other U12 teams in this area.

I know the 2013 green team. Only 2-3 kids are from Vienna area. So, please stop with the lies. Half - LOL. Seriously, you need a reality check.
