Both clubs run large local rec leagues as well.
How would that work exactly

I believe the clubs would remain separate, but then have a combined GA team and a combined MLS Next team. Those details are being ironed out as we speak. The alternative for GFR was to join FVU which is a toilet bowl club of smaller turds combining into one big turd. That was not appealing, so the GA became a more attractive option.

FVU is a train wreck. The only part left from the old VA Union glory days is the word Union. In reality it is a Brave 2.0 except the 2010 girls.

That's funny you say that FVU is Brave 2.0 except for the 2010's, but the 2010's are full of girls from Brave.

The 2010's have a great coach, but he will not be returning to FVU.

The 2010's are run by the parents. Players get playing time when their mom and dad yell at the coach. Not sure if I would call him a great coach.

Their two best players followed him and John the Baptist (NM) to BSC so maybe he is 'great"

Agree- I can't see this even being entertained. Many of the GA teams next year will be plenty strong.

not anymore with Weekend at Clyde's and Moonlight Van Graham on the sidelines. Players with highest soccer iq's run the show on the field moving forward

Has that been the case with FVU coaches? That they aren't swayed by parent influence campaigns?

2010 will be top 1or 2 of their division. 2009 will be top 1/3 of theirs. I can't speak to other years.
