McLean leaving FVU

So you think those 2013 girls go to Union or Arlington even if the club pulls out? Maybe the older girls stay at Union, but I’d think the ones not already there (2013 and below) would follow the club, which is largely what happened with SYC when they left.

I heard that once McLean leaves FVU, VYS and BRYC are going to change the club name back to BRAVE w/ logo and kits!

My DD plays for FVU and we’ve heard that this is in the works. It matters a lot who is left at FVU. I predict that if it’s just BRAVE coaches left, FVU girls will go try out at other ECNL clubs and try to leave all together. They won’t follow McLean to GA either.

NAL or MLNS tier 2 is def much better competition than ECNL RL.

With only Arlington and VDA left in ECNL, won’t be many spots. Most will have to stay with FVU.

Actually, I think this is a good move for McLean- especially on the girls side. The older girls are doing well in RL and there are some good athletes on the teams. I think this keeps those girls from moving clubs. Plus McLean has the infrastructure of a big club and money. Good move McLean.
