Yeah, she’s retiring but she wouldn’t want the super role.

Dr. Peggy Pugh is the current Chief Academic Officer, so maybe she’d be an interim choice while they look for a permanent candidate.

Pugh has solid credentials. Glad that we have a permanent administrator already in the system who could take over.

She is not good. So not good that when she tried to return to Washington County a few months ago, their Board voted no on her appointment.

What?! What happened? 😮

What exactly is going on with the "personnel matter" that the BOE has been silent about for over a week? Did they think parents will simply move on? Hold the BOE accountable. Run for the BOE deadline approaching. Vote for the BOE knowledgeably, dcum!

I would not expect them to make public statements about ongoing personnel issues. They've had several closed session meetings since Dr. McKnight's statement came out, and have another this evening, then another on Friday, then another on Tuesday. Clearly there are still extensive conversations happening.

For how long are they obligated to negotiate with her?

Until both sides come to agreement or one side walks away.

This isn’t the distraction you believe it is. Everyone else is working per normal.

Normal? 3rd+ grade students took state mandated tests last school year over multiple days. Where are the results? We haven't seen them, is that because of the distraction?
