This was the best guess based on available info on the other thread.

I wonder if this was part of the reason she never had a heavy royal schedule?

Wouldn’t explain William’s light schedule, he’s just slightly ahead of her work-wise.

I think they are using these years to focus more on the kids. Seeing how some of the Royal children have turned out, may not be the worst choice. The kids are likely to be sent to boarding school as well, so not that many years remaining. William and Kate will also never actually retire, and will work until the day they die (basically)….so might as well take more time now and ramp up later. Not that it isn’t a cushy gig in a lot of ways..but I think their overall strategy makes some sense.

This, exactly. It’s a new model for the family, but the paparazzi and newspapers were more deferential in past generations. Modern royal kids may need more support and normalcy. If Will ramps up in their later years, it could just be the new model.

How is he supporting them when he’s at home doing nothing while they are at school all day? Not like he’s there tidying the house and cooking.

LOL just had a mental image of Will in a French maid’s apron with a duster

There's always another way in.

Isn’t there a platform 9 3/4 around there?

My friend is a post-op nurse and her big takeaway is that she had pity for the nurse who had to (repeatedly) ask the future Queen of England whether she’s farted yet.

It’s reasonable to assume she was annoyed that some American kid in California completely detached from the BRF would have her pet name. Even worse: the notion they would profit from it somehow.

We are still here blaming just Meghan here. Like she got herself pregnant? It’s exhausting. Harry, the father of the baby and the direct grandson to the queen would have been the one who knew the name and suggested it.

Some American kid? You mean the king's granddaughter, a blood princess?

Lol I love you delusional trolls who think you have more of a claim to the BRF than a literal Princess. Also that story has been walked back and now it's claimed she never cared. Almost like people are using a child to justify their own issues.

She has a dork, stupid, purloined nickname for a name, appears to have her bankrupt grandfathers face, and hs literally no relationship to her rich grandfather. Oh I meant to either grandfather. Now that is competent parenting!

Hi Kate.

Hi Kate.

I don’t know, do you believe Kate thinks about Harry and Meghan’s strabismus nonentities?
