I am the data. Half of us wanted to dispense with trump before Harris was even an option. Trump manages to scare the MAGAs for some reason but that is it. That is all he gets.

Yes, this is the vision. And there is a concerted effort to silence health care providers and dismiss their knowledge. It is astonishing to me how many people believe in pseudoscience and nonsense. Moreover, I think they believe there is something righteous about a woman dying due to pregnancy. It's something from the past and thet idealize the past. Because they haven't lived through it and don't know what it was really like for families to lose their mother or husbands to lose their wives. They lost them because of antiquated medical practices, like infection due to not washing hands. Be careful what you wish for.

It’s Eve’s Curse. They think that women should be punished in perpetuity because, according to the creation myth they believe in literally, Eve gave Adam fruit from the tree of knowledge. They tart it up by using different cherry picked quotes from various books of the Bible (and centuries of re-writes that wrote women right on out of Christianity), but all it is is misogyny. I too am the data. I voted for George W. Bush twice. I will never vote for a Republican again. And I have two daughters that I am bringing along with me. That's two generations lost for the GOP.
