It is bizarre to think that intelligence is something buried deep in our DNA, and then ask people whose background in science is minimal to assess it. |
I have 156 iq and I'm an 11 year old. ![]() |
I'm laughing my ass off at all of you claiming to have ridiculously high IQs and that all of your children are prodigies. I think even you know how full of shit you are but somehow you have to brag even anonymously. Hint: no one believes you and you will not get credit since no one knows who you are. |
No your 13 year old IQ is not similar to 156. Those are prodigies and they don’t go to regular school. |
I seriously think some do those online tests where everyone scores high and they’re dumb enough to think the test is credible. |
Another big nope. They would have graduated high school by 12 years old. What could middle school classes offer someone with a 150 IQ. The brilliant kids who end up at MIT don’t have 150 IQs and they aren’t frat boys. |
Supposedly schools used to do iq tests back in the day (c. 1970). My mother tested 112 and the school told her parents that was not quite college material. She married well and never worked. My uncle tested 145 and he never lived up to it. He is comfortable but not wealthy and stayed a low-level engineer at an automaker because he couldn't be a manager.
I tested 139 and basically have followed in my uncle's footsteps. I had an interview yesterday and was asked why I hadn't been promoted with my skill set....the truth is that social skills serve people far more than raw iq. |
My mom graduated from high school at age 10 and went to college at age 11. I'm very glad that my IQ isn't off the charts the way hers was. |
