If your college student plays D&D, you have failed as a parent

Seriously, what's the difference between playing D&D weekly and, say, getting together with friends to play Scrabble weekly? Or other board games?

And Larping - I had to google, too - wouldn't be MY cup of tea, but there are people who dress in colonial costumes and reenact Civil war events, so what's the difference?

You have failed as a parent because you are narrow minded and judgmental. Go love and accept your kid for who they are.

Different strokes for different folks.

Isn’t it great they have an outlet for their creativity? A place to socialize?

Would you want a world where everyone had to like / do the same things?

Why do you feel the need to judge other people's lives? My primary concern is that people are happy and if that involves D&D, why would I care? I don't have to play, do I? Honestly, of all the things to concern yourself with OP.
