| Convince me I'm wrong. |
Add LARPing to the list. |
| Uhh you realize almost every tech entrepreneur millionaire did this… |
| What??? Why??? My kid plays D&D in college. In fact he’s the DM for his group. It takes a lot of creativity and imagination and performing skills/stage presence to keep everyone engaged. There are guys and girls in his group. |
| OP, why would I waste any time trying to convince that you’re wrong. You’re just ridiculous. |
| I've played D&D as an adult. My parents did a great job, and my adult life is happy and healthy. |
| Could be worse. They could be a scholarship athlete. |
Or be in a fraternity or sorority. That would be worse, in my opinion, than roleplaying games. |
| All my NASA friends play D&D and LARP. Not sure what being a mean girl gets you in life.... |
Had to google that. I would disown immediately. |
|
My autistic college freshman joined a D&D group. I am very happy he did, and that he's getting out and meeting people. I also know plenty of successful, non-autistic, neurotypical people who have or continue to play D&D as adults. Given the above, I don't really care what you think, OP. |
Ooh, that's fun! |
|
| Who's your dream child, OP? |
One who doesn't occupy an infantile dream world as a grown ass adult. |
