I think the King is likely just happy that she's a willing participant and isn't making waves with stupid comments to the media about racisim or "The Firm" or whatever they call themselves.

+1 She understands the job and does it well.

She is nonthreatening, generally working for the good of her country, by all accounts and appearances a loving mom and she is doing her job better than any other woman who has married into the BRF in decades. William chose well. It will be fun to see them as queen and king.

Totally agree. There is zero reason to hate her. Those who do are showing their deep insecurities (and major jealousy).

I think people like you actually make people hate her. Every comment it’s like “omg it’s your deep insecurity because she is AHMAZING”

You can't refute it though, can you? You hate her for *absolutely* no reason. None.

I like her well enough, but let’s not pretend she’s working a full time job, parenting, food shopping, cooking for her kids, and still finding the time to cook healthy things for herself and take time out our her busy life and desk job to exercise. I seriously doubt she even styles her own hair. She carries a very small mental load and even less of a domestic one.

Many other royals and extremely wealthy individuals have the same lifestyle and they don’t look as regal as Kate.

I like Kate. I think she’s very pretty and I love her fashion sense, but to me she looks decidedly middle class, not regal in the slightest. In fact, I think that’s why I like her.

While she had the equivalent of an UMC childhood, she’s made the full transition to royalty. This is how it’s done! She looks every bit of royal to me.

Umc? Her parents have hundreds of millions of dollars

Her parents are broke.

Why would it matter? They did what good parents supposed to do. They provided a stable family and a good upbringing. She still gets along with her family and they spend time with her children.

That's something compared to Diana, Sara Ferguson or Meghan.

Is no one going to talk about how impossibly young the Korean First Lady looks?

And, her legs!

I wonder what her exercise routine is!

Its probably a mix of exercise, genetics, diet, make up, dermatology and access to a luxury existence.

Can't believe no one's mentioned the Spanish Inquisition yet.

Why do you think Prince William did his New York visit for Earthshot without her? Kate Middleton's legs in New York City would've made the cameras forget William's existence.

THIS.

Okay, I thought I was the only one who noticed that. She looks like she was terrified and I wondered if he married a young affair partner or something. (I know I could google her but I'm just telling my first impression.)

+3. She is a woman who KNOWS HER PLACE. She submits to her husband, to the crown, to the firm.

Reading that article, Carole Middleton sounds like a horrifying human being. It's a very bad look for the freaking head of state to have an in-law doing this - far, far worse than Harry and Meghan IMO.

Kate and William will be divorced within five years. Sorry for all you basic Karens who see yourself in her and your ugly balding DHs in William.

Totally disagree. I think William could basically pimp her out on a nightly basis and she would stay. I think she's in it for the long-haul. I think she will put up with tremendous indignities to keep her place and position. He would have to divorce her, which I think he wouldn't be inclined to do? Cheating, of course, but that's a give-in that she's aware of.

Is she a Manga impersonator?

She is my age, or a year younger. South Koreans are into plastic surgery. She looks like those dolls or cartoons they like a lot. Heavy make up and all that.
