She so often wears all one color--dress + hat + shoes. I know she has to wear bright colors to big public events so she can be seen, but mix it up! Too much matchy-matchy.

This look isn’t my favorite. No doubt she’s beautiful and in great shape, but the coat with the big bow is giving me maternity vibes. Her dress underneath it is probably very pretty.

She needs to look at Queen Letizia of Spain. She always looks amazing. Very proper, but not like she is wearing a costume. Kate nevr wears her clothes, they wear her.

Yes, PP here and that's the perfect comparison. Letizia looks like a grown up version of what Kate is going for, and I think the difference is that she appears to be wearing clothes she really likes, and Kate here feels like she's wearing something she thinks people would like to see her in.

I actually think Kate used to approach things more the way Letizia does, to her benefit, but since the coronation I think she's "stepped it up" and the effect doesn't always work. Too much drama.
