Delivering a baby at that term, dead or alive, is every bit as painful as a full-term delivery--I know this, as I have done both, multiple times. You don't just go, oh, I have to pee, and then, hey what was that splash, oh, a baby! Then flush. This wasn't shock. This was foul play. She tried to flush a dead baby down the toilet. And everyone here knows why but won't say. She was very likely covering up a dead baby who had drugs in its system.

You are full on baloney! "Foul play"? The fetus was ALREADY DEAD. How do you commit foul play to the already dead contents of your uterus? Since when does a dead fetus have the same legal status as a corpse?

Although you got me there - corpses do have more legal rights to their bodies than women.

I think the PP is saying that the baby was alive until the mom did something to do to make it non viable. It’s hard to believe someone would flush a baby down the toilet if they weren’t trying to get rid of evidence of something bad that they’d done like drugs.

It’s only hard to believe because you lack any imagination. If they thought she had done something that killed the fetus they would have charged her with that for sure.

It doesn't matter what the PP is fantasizing because the forensic pathologist and hospital visits indicate it was already dead.

- woman that's lost 6 pregnancies and counting.

She was plugging the toilet to force it down not get it out. The police were called to the house.

Please stop making things up that didn't happen. You are embarrassing yourself now.

And there are many more google images of "miscarriage into the toilet" for those of you who are spinning tales of what she saw and what her "baby" looked like.

You are a bunch of ghouls to be criticizing HER in all this. Those hospitals should have the cr@p sued out of them.

You guys are amazing making up lies on this thread. She went to the hospital twice was told both times it was not viable and she did nothing about it.

You changing the story here to fit your agenda is priceless. Anyone with a brain see right though all these posts.

You PP are a real piece of work. "Don't we all keep a toilet colander and silk lined tiny coffin at hand when doctors refuse us" REALLY, REALLY MENTALLY SICK.

So basically you do think women need to fish out their miscarriages from the toilet?

This is a still birth. Don't forget it. She should have called for help. Duh. Stop acting like you don't know the difference between a miscarriage and a stillbirth.

Call who? After the hospitals didn't help her. What help can anyone give her?

she already went to the hospital twice and they sent her home. is there some legal requirement to get “help” with a stillbirth? I guess the prudent woman would fully document her stillbirth now to avoid prosecution in Ohio. maybe call her lawyer and make sure a transcript is recorded.

YEP. Imagine sending a woman home with an unviable pregnancy at 22 weeks with no support.

Go after the politicians that legislate this crap, run on the promise of legislating this crap, and take money to make these crap laws.

The hospitals and providers are trying to work within laws that can be interpreted to charge them with felonies. Do you know what happens when one of the only two OB-Gyns for a practice is put on suspension or jailed? You now have one person on call 24/7. Some places only have one provider, and they have to leave women without any local support.

This is why OB-Gyns and pediatricians leave states like this.

Apparently there ARE helpful guidelines for having a planned stillbirth at home, and amongst them are to make sure you understand the laws of your states ladies.

MAGA!

Welp, better add that to the list of things to make sure our college seniors know, along with how to do laundry and prepare basic meals.

She should definitely be suing the hospital(s) and the state. This is a complete horror.
