This is not even remotely accurate. I am 50 and have been on Obamacare since it started and without subsidies I have paid between 400 and 650. But that’s only because I choose really good ppo plans.

Oh I guess I did pay 1200 for that plan briefly in Virginia.

But DC and Maryland, no.

In SC the plans range between 100 and 400.

Again this is with no subsidies.

And you’re single and probably have a huge deductible, no?

MLR has over 2 million dollars of her own money, way more than most working Americans. It's disgusting to be asking for money to pay for her medical bills from hard-working Americans that are trying to make ends meet to support their own families. Her daughter should use that 2 million to cover the cost and stop abusing that Go- Fund- Me resource that's really intended for truly needy people.!!!!

This makes me disgusted. That people will give to a multimillionaire who chose not to purchase health insurance, but not to their local homeless shelter (as an example).

Seriously!

A huge deductible is fine - this isn’t the case of someone doing a go fund me for a deductible. It’s for an expensive icu stay which is exactly what a high deductible plan would cover.
Look up mlr and anti vax. I’d be fairly certain this is Covid pneumonia

MLR is conservative, anti-choice, anti-gay, she lobbied against the victim protection bill, and she consistently sided with USAG/coaches and shamed victims who spoke out.

MLR didn’t have health insurance because of her own personal beliefs or laziness. Not because she couldn’t pay.

I mean I feel a lot of ways about her views that she has preached but I don’t think I could call her lazy!!!

Sadly, the same people who complain about welfare recipients...are the same ones who have no issue with taking it for themselves.

Maybe she should pull herself up by her bootstraps?!

Agree it’s likely covid and her family is trying to not say that

Covid. People are still getting it and dying. She is a conservative so probably didn’t get the vaccine.

Retton had both hips replaced and was a spokesperson for the implant maker.

She's 55, not 75.

She's in the ICU

No one is forced to donate to Gofundme. You can either choose to or not to donate. Maybe you should direct your outrage to our insane healthcare costs and the fact that we are one of few countries that doesn’t have a single payer model.
