I agree. I love it. It is modern, has symmetry, and is a nice change from all the "white and black" trend homes being built (or old one's painted.). I give it a 9/10.

On a busy road? NOPE

It’s beautiful/modern/fresh.

Can you imagine the cost to have someone clean it? The electric bills? Who needs a 6 bdrm house?

Typical McMansion with no curb appeal. A lot filler if you will.

Oh my gosh, if you look at the "street view" all of the other homes are small 1960s/70s style. This looks really out of place. I like it but maybe better suited for a different street.

This home is giving similar vibes (less dramatic but similar.). Is Kensington safe at night?

Has to be the same builder, it's like the smaller cousin of the Bethesda one, right down to the garage door sidelights. I actually like this one better - the scale seems more normal and it is missing some of the fads of the other one.

The design flaw is the bathtub that looks directly at the neighbors back deck, and vice versa. I know there will be blinds or something, but I don't think I would ever be comfortable in that tub. All of these supersize houses on small lots have too many windows facing neighbors or looking at walls/fences a few feet away. It feels a little claustrophobic to me.

So many windows in that house look at a white wall and a tall fence.

It looks cheap and will look dated in about five years. It's also one house off Goldsboro.

And too small of a lot. It's like an inch away from the other house (despite whatever perspective they used to try to make it look as good as possible).

Somebody needs to mention that’s right near the stream (Minnehaha Branch) that floods a lot.

Does this home have views of the river/stream?

Actually the street view isn't bad. It shows the original tiny house, but at least a lot of other houses are newish and the same scale as this one. That didn't seem to be the case with the Bethesda one, although over the next 5-10 years I'm sure all the original houses will be torn down.

Yeah but looks so busy. I do think it's a nice house.

Stick with me here. The outside of the house looks like Ryan Reynolds in a VERY form fitting suit with his ankles showing and no socks, dress shoes.

Crazy stupid love. Not the house from the movie. It looks like Ryan Reynolds from the movie.

This home screams, "I've arrived. I'm wealthy."

Me too. I can’t believe we generally don’t get a built in refrigerator here until you spend about that much. Other parts of the country it’s pretty standard in any nice house. And in the big scheme of things, pretty inexpensive. It’s just one of the ways I think builders here cheap out.

How do people think the builders compare here?
I moved from the Bay Area where there were a lot of tear downs too but the new builds, at least on the average, looked more tasteful. Do we just have bad builders here? Curb appeal is often average and they cut corners on higher-end finishes.
