No, but nothing can stop you from signing up for 9th grade AP exams at a different school via the College Board web site ($200/test). Some Walls families do that.

They have allowed kids to take AP tests in the past. But the kid has to demonstrate that they are taking it seriously. I would talk to the AP coordinator in the fall.
