| Bye Bye Manchin! |
Yes but I want him to run because he’ll win the primary and never win the general. |
This is BS. NY is watching MAGA in Florida and other state’s abortion bans and wants no part of that. The only reason Dems lost NY is because Sean PM believed the ridiculous Red Wave rhetoric and didn’t fight for those seats. His hubris lost us the House. And yeah, they should have been more honest in redrawing districts. GOP will get slammed in the House, they have NOTHING to show for their majority. Senate will be harder but with every day with a new abortion/book/drag Queen ban, Dems chances improve greatly. |
| Can someone start posting regular update for senate chance for Democrats, please. I want to start donating. |
Give to Blue Ohio. https://blueohio.org/ they are grassroots, voter outreach, working to register voters and get folks involved. Giving to candidates isn’t good because the tend to spend $$ on advertising. If not Ohio, pick a voter outreach group in a swing state so they can start registering voters NOW. Also, give regularly vs. a one time check. Giving monthly allows organizers to plan long term and that is what we need! Really, better to give $8 per month than one time $100. Thank you! |
Please start regular donations to Sherrod Brown and Jon Tester - their races are winnable but will be tough. Also consider Ruben Gallego in Arizona who needs to beat Sinema and whoever the crazy republican will be, probably Kari Lake. |
| Who are the likely aspirants for Cardin’s seat? |
|
I'd bet on both Tester and Brown (MT and OH) losing in 2024. Reps are going to win both states handily and I can't see OH voting for both Brown AND Turnip. That pool of voters just can't be big enough. Probably easier in maverick Montana.
Cardin is interesting. On the Rep side Hogan would be the most winnable candidate but I doubt he'd run. Open field for Dems. Probably a DC area candidate. |
May be Raskin... |
