Be clear, no jewelry is worth it. People who buy as an "investment" are operating somewhere akin to money laundering in the from the get go.

But aren't we in some sort of golden age for independent jewelry designers? If the goal is a unique bangle, that is available for 7K, too.

Gold jewelry is worth it because the price of gold remains high. If SHTF I guess you can barter your Love bracelet for some ammo.

I like this bracelet a lot, and Tiffany recently released a "lock" line of bracelets that look interesting.

OP, an expensive bracelet is not a necessity, but if you're a jewelry lover and can afford a splurge set up a Cartier appointment and check out the different bracelets in person. I bought myself a Clash as a promotion present, I have loved the edgy design since it was released. The Love is not for me- I want to be able to remove jewelry easily and I don't like the screw motif. Branded jewelry is obviously much more expensive than the raw materials used to make it- for 7K you could certainly buy multiple 18K bracelets made by a local jeweler. If you love the design and can afford it, and prefer spending on things like this as opposed to travel, etc. people spend on different kind of luxury items.

To a PP’s point, this isn’t an item accessible to most people. And to be clear, I’m not saying expensive = quality or better taste (and you’re definitely paying a brand premium), just pointing out a huge fallacy I see around here a lot. I suspect the perceived ubiquity of the Love bracelet is driven not by it’s price point, but by social media. You see them all the time in Instagram, which makes them oversaturated for sure. I hardly doubt you’re seeing it on your average mom driving a Toyota Highlander in the suburbs.

It’s basic for the UMC, not the middle class. There are many UMC basic women with 3 or so Love bracelets. These are not fashionable or original women. These are crowd-followers.

There is nothing wrong with that though. And yes UMC women are wearing this, but so are actual rich women. I watch the Today Show and Jenna Bush Hager wears them as well as Savannah Guthrie and many of the other Hosts. Almost all of the Housewives on Bravo wear them. And none of these people are UMC they are very wealthy.

TV hosts are like real estate agents, they need quick recognizable pieces that signal you can let them in your home. Definitely not a random sample of what wealthy women wear. But, if that’s what OP is looking for she should get exactly what everyone else wears, and learn to laugh off anyone who asks about the beau.

Nothing about a $7k bracelet scream relatable. I think it's a great point to note that many wealthy women are wearing these bangles. PP is right the love bracelet is all over Bravo in almost every show. It's basic I guess...but a lot of wealthy women are wearing it. Even Tiffany Trump wears it.

IMO more sophisticated than this Love bracelet for sure. Part of sophistication is risk-taking. No risk-taking with the Love.
