Yes.

I just saw this post with the link? Why would you buy yourself a manacle that you can’t put on or remove yourself?

I can perhaps see it as a substitute for a wedding band or collar, although it would decidedly not be my preference. However, you’re buying it for yourself so it doesn’t represent a fixed commitment to anyone. Even if you have the jeweler put it on, what are you going to do if you want/need to get it off?

That part of the description gave me chills. I love you so much, here's a manacle.

This. They’re basic. I consider this to be the jewelry equivalent of a Neverfull.

+1 it’s the Tiffany’s silver chain bracelet for richer people. I know two people who have purchased one this year. If I had $7k to drop on a bracelet, it wouldn’t be on this years trend.

Why do people bother posting questions like this on this forum? These are not your people, OP.

Buy it if you want it. They’ve been around forever so they’re not trendy as some PPs suggest. I wouldn’t call it an investment necessarily but if you can afford it, go for it.

+1, OP has to be a troll.

Are you being sincere or is this sarcasm?

NP. But true. No man would buy this as gift, unless he was explicitly told to. It’s a plain small gold bracelet for 7k

If you really want a Cartier piece, get a watch

OP, get what you like and ignore the haters. I have two diamond ones and love them. My husband purchased them for me for significant events in my life. If you don’t want to wear a bracelet that you can’t take off, I’d try the Juste en Clou.

You may not like them, but describing them as trend shows you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Was going to comment this. I actually don’t dislike either and for a woman with an intentional basic Instagram momfluencer style I think it works but I wouldn’t buy it if I wasn’t specifically going for that look

I actually like the style but just couldn’t pay that markup. Which is probably why I’m wearing $500 worth of jewelry most days, lol.

So basic. If you actually want to invest in a nice gold bracelet get an Elizabeth Locke or Temple St. Claire. But then people wouldn't know how much you spent, which I assume is the point of the Cartier.

Nothing says "try hard wannabe" more than a Cartier Love bracelet. Hard pass. I prefer subtlety.

Please don't buy yourself one of these. They are meant to be a gift. I would be so embarrassed if I had to buy myself something that is meant to be given as a gift!!

They are the Thomas Kinkade of jewelry.

Please go to a local jeweler store if you want a nice gold bracelet.
