Bullet strikes family home of N.C. congressional candidate

You are all despicable!

A politician’s house was shot at, narrowly missing his sleeping children, and all you can do is try disprove that this really happened and was politically motivated because the politician happens to have an R after his name.

He filed a police report as soon as he realized what happened. Why did the media not report sooner? That’s on the media to explain.

Two weeks later, Harrigan’s campaign decided to blame it on his opponent’s ad that showed a different house in Hickory to say that Harrigan doesn’t live in the district and didn’t rent an apartment in the district and change his voter registration until after he started his campaign. It’s a legitimate political issue to raise. It’s ridiculous to link the ad to the shot based on the known facts.

So basically the GOP candidate didn’t want people to know that he doesn’t live in the district and wanted the ad pulled away. So he connected the shooting incident with the ad and Democratic candidate being a good human being pulled the ad out of caution…

There is no reason EVER to show the home or immediate neighborhood in an attack ad on a candidate. How do you NOT know this could be a danger?

You’re right. I agree with you.

We should disarm dems first.

Why did the GOP candidate’s parents not own a gun and start shooting at the shooter?

But the house that was shot was not the house or in the neighborhood shown in the ad.

Yes, even when the candidate is lying about his residence/s

Btw, the GOP candidate’s campaign lied to media about his house being shot at!

GOP cannot stop lying!

Do you Think Trump is despicable for touting conspiracy theories about a political spouse who was attacked in his own home?

The problem(s) with Trump’s latest Pelosi conspiracy theories
“Donald Trump's initial silence about the attack at the Pelosi home made him appear callous. His new conspiracy theories made him look quite a bit worse.”

Donald Trump Echoes False Conspiracies About the Paul Pelosi Attack: 'Weird Things Going On'

“In the days since Nancy Pelosi's husband was allegedly attacked by a right-wing conspiracist, who's since pleaded not guilty, far-right Republicans have concocted false narratives to downplay the event”

The campaign manager said that was a “typo”. Somehow, they typed out a press release that said it was Harrigan’s own house and not his parents’ house. That “inadvertent” “typographical error” “accidentally” suggested that it was Harrigan’s lake home referenced in the opponent’s ad, when it was a different house, not owned by Harrigan, not in the ad, and not in the neighborhood of the home referenced in the ad. What an unfortunate typo!!!

Why are libs spinning this as a non attack or non event? Are you that keen to have violence be directed solely at your politicians? Maybe you can scrub that Rubio kid and scalise from the web.

Read the post directly above if you are so confused. The R tried to intentionally mislead the public with accusations against his opponent. The details certainly matter.

Let me say it again louder for those in the back. THE POLITICIAN'S HOUSE WAS NOT SHOT AT. It was the politician's PARENTS' house that was shot at. It likely has absolutely nothing to do with the campaign. Hunting season. Hickory, North Carolina. Police mention nothing about a motive or an investigation. Methinks the GOP candidate suddenly thought it would be a good idea to use this incident as a way to sway voters to his side.
