Most of you can't do it well so you take freakin 3x's as long to park in the space than if you just pulled in. Everyone? Especially with back up cameras. It has never taken me more than one “attempt” (?) to back out of a parking spot. I do not need to readjust my position over and over while pulling in and out while others wait. I just pull out- safely, with the backup camera, about the same speed as a car pulling out forward should be safely going- and leave.

If you are doing a quick drop off at school (not carline), pull over on the school side of the street, and for the love of God STAY IN YOUR CAR and have your child exit alone on the right side. Do not open your car door into busy school morning traffic. If your child can't get out alone, go through the car line where everyone is slow and be slow like them.

This is illegal in VA. Despite so, there are SO MANY DANGEROUS MORONS who continue to open their door on streets with active car movement.

If someone hits you, or your child, or your car door... or YOU hit a person/cyclist/other vehicle... YOU will be held liable. Parked cars still have a legal responsibility to operate their vehicles safely.

There are TONS of unsafe "slow" (or speed limit) drivers who are distracted, do not have good control, and are unsafe. I say this as someone who's lived car-less for many years, and still lives in a highly walkable area (and walks a lot myself). The person going speed limit but on a hands free phone call, is WAY more distracted than someone going 15 over, but fully present.

Maryland drivers are the worst. I don't understand why it would be that way, but it is.
Florida drivers are also rude and aggressive.

1. When you’re turning, blink before you get to the light. Don’t wait for it to turn green, pull out a little, and then blink.

If you are asking this question at all means you are clogging up the left lane. Just stay in the right lane unless you can efficiently pass. It shouldn’t take more than 10 seconds to pass. And that is generous.

Talking specifically to ICC drivers here, If I'm going 70 and passing traffic continually, I am not moving over so you can go 80. Sorry.

Also if I'm going 70 and after you tailgate annoyingly and I then move into a clear center lane, don't start going 71 mph, hit the gas pal!

I swear afternoon Eastbound ICC drivers are the absolute worst. We're going to get speed cams out there and won't be my fault.
