DD in - Yale, CM, WF, UVA, MIT. She was rejected at: Va Tech, Radford, UMD and Tufts.
|
We can agree to disagree then?
|
Congrats! So happy someone in the area got in - few people stop by the college fair table anymore. As they are passing by, they tell me it’s too hard for their kid to get in. |
I am asking the PP where their child went..... plain and simple |
|
Many of these are obviously fake/joke posts.
My kid got into UVA and Notre Dame but was waitlisted at Richmond and William & Mary. |
. 3.99? What did she get an A- in? |
Yup. Radford is rough. Yale and MIT are safeties. |
Same for my kid! |
Same! They say Radford is the new Harvard!0 |
I can taste the bitterness through the screen. Who wouldn't expect to get into Tulane and NYU after getting into UCLA and Emory? Tulane and NYU will never be elite, they're known for yield protection, especially Tulane. Emory sits pretty in the top 25 with its 11% acceptance rate. Let's see if you or your DC could get in... |
Oh please don't be silly. |
The game has shifted so try to keep up. It is not yield protection at Tulane it is filling the class early. Most of the results discussed here that cause a second glance are because people don't account for how important the ED part of this has become. |
Yield protection is real. Obviously, most of these people do not understand it or know about it. |
Agreed. That's the weirdest assertion on this entire thread. |
This is surely a lie. |
