I just love threads that begin, "Can we just agree..." No, OP. Speak for yourself.

EXACTLY. Vote for abortion rights in your own states.

I will vote for whatever sh"t candidate the Dems manage to dig out of a bog to run but I have never hated the democratic party more. They do jack, they had 50 years to move o abortion legislation, they don't act like a party that cares about poor people, they don't fight for us. To bad the only other option is christofascists.

And be careful where you have a miscarriage.

Ii am never voting for a Republican again. The ones like Hogan who have refused to denounce their party are just as despicable as the Trumpers who continue to spout the Big Lie.

No matter what your party, folks, you have to vote for Democrats if you want our country to remain a democracy.

The SCOTUS has turned the corner, and will soon turn control of voting over to state legislatures.

Democrats must retain control and the local, state and national levels. Congress must remain the hands of the Democrats.

Mitch McConnel has his Supreme Court, and God Help Us what this radical-right court will dismantle next.

I don't want to return to 1950, do you?

If not, VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS, straight ticket up and down. SAVE OUR DEMOCRACY!!!!!

I TOTALLY agree, but at least Democrats want to keep our democracy. The Democrats won't turn our country into a Fascist state!! The GOP is heading directly toward Fascism. If that doesn't scare you, it should.

Democrats are ineffectual, complacent, arrogant, hiding their heads in the sand, prone to ridiculous infighting, but they're all we've got now, so I'm voting for them, no matter how rickety and sleazy and ineffectual they are. There is no other choice. None. Vote for Democrats. Save our United States of America!!!

Right now the Supreme Court cannot be trusted. We need a Dem majority in order to correct the bad SCOTUS rulings and to codify every other needed protection into law. Along with fixing issues of gerrymandering and campaign finance.

A vote for anyone other than a Dem is handing the Republicans a win and bringing even more disaster upon American democracy.

I’m actually a committed Democratic voter, but I am so annoyed with them not taking the power of their office and doing with it. It’s like they’re an unpopular kid who, once popular, just can’t accept that people like them. It might help if the damn GOP were a functioning political party instead of… whatever they are. The Democrat has to be everything to everyone who isn’t a christofascist.

You claim you want our country to remain a democracy - but *only* if Democrats are in charge. No thanks, hypocrite!

Only Democrats are currently anti-fascist. It wasn’t always this way but it is now. If you can’t see that reality, you’re lost.

The simpering PP is a fascist. Of course they want the fascists in power. If we all band together and vote Democratic, their little plans are toast.

Republicans don't actually have feasible, workable plans to fix gas prices. Keystone XL ain't it. Drill baby drill ain't i.

Actually, they might. Gas prices are more about corporate profit than genuine scarcity or inflation. One plan could have been to raise prices and profits under Biden, negatively impacting Biden and Democrats, while enriching corporate coffers. Bigger profits, with the only downside being struggling customers, who will remain customers since gas is essential.

+1000 stop traveling to Florida. Everyone I know I’m Nova took multiple trips there over the past two years, whether it was to Disney or the beaches. Stop giving states like this your money.

I want that for purely selfish reasons. I hear my liberal neighbors trash talk the red states and then vacation there frequently. It drives the prices up in Florida for everywhere. If all of you stop traveling there, it will be less expensive for me when my family goes. Sorry but this woman is also voting R in the next election.

Aside from your political opinion I agree with you 100% on the fact that blue state “refugees” and “retirees” are a major factor in driving up property values. In fact there is evidence for this in the literature. My parents back in Long Island (NY) told me that almost close to 1/3 of people they grew up with in their town all moved to Florida. Why Florida? No idea the state never appealed to me anyways.

Because Florida does not have a state income tax.

That isn’t Republicans fixing anything. That’s just proof that the GOP is colluding with businesses to eff over Americans so that the GOP gets their christofascist government.
