Severance

My guess is they are cloning people down there. That explains the goats, why Mrs Casey is there when she allegedly died before Mark S had severance … thoughts?

Possibly. I can't decide if I want her to be a clone or if I want her to be the real Gemma.

It’s not clones.
The writer has already said the only sci-fi aspect of the show is the Severance procedure.
No robots
No clones.

I just finished watching Severance. What a great finale!! I might go back and watch earlier episodes where I thought it was slow. I know I'm late to the (waffle) party haha! Can't wait for Season 2.

we binged it in two days. purchased Apple TV + after watching the 1st episode for free (genius marketing).

one thing I notices - the outside world - it is always so dark/dreary/poor lighting.

the inside world - bright white, glaring lighting.

I am trying to understand how everything is a clue to what is really happening. even the opening credits.

and what is the black tar Irv saw dripping all over himself? that's a clue too.

That is connected to what we see Outie Irv doing at the end.

So what do we think the story is with Mark's wife? Did she agree to be severed or what?

Mark has to be important in some way, why else is Harmony living next door? did they fake Gemma's death?

I keep wondering if the midwife is in on it somehow. why hasn't Mark been to her house?

That's what I think, so they could use her as a guinea pig for the severance procedure.

Does anyone know if there will be another season coming?

Filming of season 2 was shut down with the writers strike.

I saw a while back multiple posts about them shooting (I want to say Kingston ON), hopefully its not delayed too much.

Fellow Severance fans, thoughts on season 2, episode 1?

What’s up with no comma on M’s screen, but having one in the episode title?

Anyone else wonder if kids (goats and children) are born and raised as innies and outies from the start?

Trying to avoid spoiler, so trying to be vague. Anyone else think the architectural drawing looked like cells or dendrites in one corner? Also the name of the place sounds like a funeral parlor.

I watched it last night and will have to rewatch for those details… The company cartoon show was so weird!
