Russia is already not doing all that well economically, is still in the throes of the pandemic itself (and grossly undercounting deaths), is needlessly and pointlessly pissing away massive amounts of money on military sabre rattling while putting themselves at risk of sanctions and being cut off from the international banking community. And even if they did conquer and annex Ukraine, there would be massive devastation and cost of rebuilding, which the west would not be keen to help with. I wonder if Russia's parliament fully understands all of this while approving Putin's budgets and actions? |
And, this administration is discussing the possibility of evacuating American citizens from Ukraine.
What can possibly go wrong? |
I don’t think people realize just how weak Russia’s economy really is. |
Russia's GDP is about 80% of Canada's and about 7.2% of ours. |
Now do per capita |
Per capita GDP? Canada $43k US $63,544 Russia at its highest was $15k, now down to $10k Weak. |
LMAO You're kidding, right? Trump kept nothing at bay, did nothing to stand up to Russia, alienated all of our international allies and wanted to dismantle NATO. He left Biden with the hard work of trying to rebuild those relationships. |
I agree with pp. International relations were much more stable under Trump. Biden has f'ed up so much... from Afghanistan to insulting France to kowtowing to Putin. He is an embarrassment to the US. And, this is probably an understatement. |
Hahah, now Biden is kowtowing to Putin. Lol, y'all are really flailing aimlessly at this point. |
Putin didn’t move on anybody with Trump running things. China wasn’t threatening Taiwan and we didn’t have Americans stuck and helpless in Taliban territory.
The democrats are stupid and don’t know how to take care of America. |
Hahahaha, you all are hilarious. This must be so embarrassing for you. |
“Bare shelves” Biden also has the highest inflation in 40 years. Total loser. |
Just wait until you see what will happen to the ruble if Russia invades. |
