Any new Tysons Ridge Homeowners here? We're family of four with two little ones. We're excited for our new little neighborhood to come together. Say hi!

We know families who bought new at Pimmit Hills. They are very happy with it! The location is excellent and the community is changing with all the rebuilts.

I don't see the appeal of being stuck right off Route 7 halfway between Tysons and Falls Church City.

Yes, the location is unbeatable. The new builts in nearby McLean are already $2.5M+. Only concerns are schools. Is West Gate elementary ok school?

Is there a new SFH development? Would you mind linking. I don't have any suggestions but would love to have as many families with kids move in to build a fun neighborhood for the kids. We have friends who live in a SFH a little further down closer to the plaza. They love it.

Pimmit Hills has a ton of families with young kids and you’re down the street from the library.

“The street” = one of the busiest roads in NoVa.

What I've concluded from talking with actual families is that Westgate ES is a good school. Unfortunately, it seems to be judged harshly by people that don't have children who even go there. I would rather my kid go to a school like Westgate than to a school where the parents of students just call another school bad. I would do your own research and speak with actual families.

You can walk through the neighborhood. It’s better than not being next to the library.

Westgate is fine but the folks in Pimmit Hills who have their AAP kids at Lemon Road aren’t shy about letting you know it. Lots of yard signs, bumper stickers, etc.

I went to lemon road. It’s the smallest school in Fairfax county and has combined 4/5/6 grades. It’s nothing to boast about.

That was many years ago. They have since both expanded the boundaries and made it an AAP center.
