That was the worse lax i have seen. PVI, GC and GZ will smoke SJC! No offense, lazy defense and no energy!

Not a good luck for the Cadets!

Way too many unforced turnovers, out hustled for groundballs, and offense is anemic. Cadets better figure it out or they are in serious trouble come league play. They still beat GZ but 5 plus goals so take it easy on that terrible prediction.

St. John's won't score more than 5.

PVI vs Gonzaga in the ship. Gonzaga wins because of their grit.

The cadets and speaks are still living off the tails of the 2022 generational class.

They wouldn’t beat STA or Episcopal this year.

Are Bullis wins vs Haverford and Spalding really that good? I know they started the season with season with high national rankings, but both of those teams have 3 losses already this season.

And speaking of national rankings (and not in the DMV), but Episcopal Academy beat Lawrenceville this afternoon by 1. GP didn’t play EA close, but EA just might be a top national team.

As I see it, there’s still not enough data to separate PVI, Bullis, Landon and GP from each other, and I don’t think a GP win over GZ is going to tell us much.

Shocked at the SJC loss to Hill. This is the Hill School in PA - not the Hill Academy in Canada. The Hill School is fine, but with SJC’s talent, SJC should have blown them out.

St. John's should start the rebuild to next year and let the young guys play. They will be hungry to play.

The 26 class is overrated and believe their own hype.

SJC’s talent is mostly on paper. They are deep, but not that great. They have a lot of players who got noticed early but never developed. As said above, they may go D1; but like two thirds of any D1 roster, these kids wont see the field. That’s why a mid- level SMR team knocked them out last year. If they go anywhere this year it will because PVI and GC trip up, not because they are good.

#1 Paul VI. The Heights win is a better one than against DM
#2 Bullis. Those big wins are now games they should win.
#3 Georgetown Prep. Can solidify the rank vs GZ
#4 Landon. The Bears MIAA wins look ok
#5 Good Counsel. GC scores goals and SJC doesn't
#6 St. John's. Losing could be okay but not like that
#7 Episcopal. Confirms the top ten with a solid win
#8 St. Albans. Scoring goals
#9 Potomac. Puts away BI by the same as EP
#10 Publics - Urbana, Madison, Robinson,...

Mentions - GZ takes it out on DOJ, Heights has goal scorers but not much else.

I'd go with the following logic.

1. Bullis - best wins in the area against Haverford and Spalding
Spalding is now 2-4 and Haverford is 2-3.
2. PVI - great win against STAB, good win against IMG
3. Landon - good wins against St. Paul's, Severn, and Good Counsel
4. GP - good wins over Loyola, St Mary's, and Gilman. btw - their loss is now to a top 5 team in the country.
5. Good Counsel - Falcons ran toe to toe with Bullis and Landon.
Maybe with Bullis but Landon had them down 5 with 7 to play and tried to gift GC the game.
6. SJC - Cadets need to score goals; otherwise, they are in trouble against PVI and GC.
Forget about those 2, St. Anthony's is next.
7. STA - playing better and actually scoring goals. Their goalie will keep them in games this spring
8. Gonzaga - a win tomorrow night over the Lil Hoyas would turn the Eagles' season around
GZ is not good. Rank teams on how they've played and not IG posts.
9. EHS - don't believe the Mad Lax hype.
Hype but they are 9th?
10. Urbana - at least they had the balls to schedule Bullis and challenge themselves against elite competition.

They are ok players. Mid to bottom of a D1 roster.

I think #1 will be a stand out in D1. And even if the rest of the team never sees a D1 field, they are all very solid players, and any half-witted coach should be able to win with that crew.

Spalding 8

I've never heard of Tabor Academy. Does anyone have any scoop on them?

St. John's has been on a great run that dates back to the 2017 season. This team has not lived up to the hype for the last 2 seasons. The common dominator is the 2026 class. They are lucky their future coaches are too busy to watch or the portal would be busy.

Do they really have a Maryland commit that plays FO? My Terps might be on the same down swing.

Think he plays A for SJC, but was recruited for college as a mid.

PVI did a trip over spring break last year to play them. PVI lost by one.

They do. He plays for the Annapolis Hawks 2027 team. Joined that club last year, I think. Maybe the year before. Was shocked to hear he’s committed to UMD after seeing him play.
