Does anyone want to throw out some names for the Bullis head-coaching job?

Sure. Lars Tiffany. Kevin Corrigan. Maybe Conner Shellenberger.

Maryland had a down year, so maybe Tillman?

Jokes aside, who would be obvious candidates from top assistants in the area?

Would Bullis poach Ince from SSSA?

1. Prep - Won year end tourny. Lost to Bullis by one in reg season. Deepest/best talent. Great first year by Hilgy. They’ll be better next year.
2. Bullis - Won reg. season going undefeated. Also beat Haverford, Spalding, GC and Gonzaga. Yes, lost to STa in OT in tourny, but I chalk that up to a bad day.
3. STA - Up and coming program. Lots of young talent. Got better as year went along and I think program on rise and will challenge Prep next year. And yes, I know they beat Bullis in the tourny. They also lost to them the week before.
4. Landon - Avg year for the Bears. Not a noteworthy win, although they played Culver tough and pushed Prep a ton. Didn’t have normal grit across the field. Should be better next year.
5. Episcopal - Cabell is going to Cabell, but they still don’t have the talent. They’ll play hard and physical, but they have essentially a brand less style of play.
6. SSSA - What are we doing??

POY - Han- Prep - Won tourny (even if he wasn’t best player on field that day). Target of defenses all year, and still put up points. 5 star.
Runner- Up- Kuehl - Bullis - Hat trick against STa was the norm all year.
DPOY - Greene - STA, Wade - Bullis, McGlone- Prep… pick’em

They should start doing a tournament at the end of the year to rank the teams.

It’s called nhsls

They have a NL coach and teacher on staff.

Lars Tiffany should actually be available after 4 offsides in the 4th quarter of an NCAA tournament game.

+1, great game between great teams. Both teams played hard and unified; no surprise for Senior and one-club heavy PVI, but impressive and contrary to the descriptions of how SJC plays. PVI made their few errors early, and SJC made their few mistakes late. FO runs followed the same pattern. Those two factors struck this neutral observer as the difference. Some impressive outside shooting from the wing by SJC, and some big boy individual plays by PVI attackers late.

PVI vs GP who wins ?

They already played at the start of the season. PVI dominated.

If Landon was 40% at fogo, they win both games over GP by 4-5 goals. They were 8-50 appx in the 2 games combined.
PVI shredded GP in their scrimmage as it was 5-2 at half and 7-2 at the end of starter time.

The problem at Bullis is the head of school. He's been at odds with the lacrosse program for his entire tenure. Watch them clean house after the retirement and let good coaches scatter to the wind.

All for discussing theoretical IAC vs WCAC champion match-ups, but how does anyone take the results of a scrimmage from nearly 3 months ago and apply them now. Teams improve and learn how to play within their system (especially a team like Prep with a first year HC), coaches make adjustments to approach and personnel as the season goes on, players get injured or come back from injury... not to mention teams focus on different things in pre-season scrimmages and aren't necessarily worried about the score. With your logic - PVI and Gonzaga shouldn't have even played their WCAC playoff game - Gonzaga beat them in OT in the regular season, so they should have won the playoff game - but alas, PVI won the game by 6 goals.

And as for Landon beating Prep if they'd won more face-offs... Okay, well Prep should've beat Landon in past years if only their defense was stronger, or their attack scored more goals or their goalie stood on his head and stopped every shot. The teams put their best players out at every position for both games and Prep won both. Landon is a fantastic program with a rich history who dominated the IAC the last 2 years - it's okay to own the fact that Landon lost to Prep 2x's this year and not make excuses.

this is a hilarious response to asking who wins between PVI and GP.

Perfect example of why Steve Spurrier (and others) said, “Statistics are for losers”.

You never hear basketball coaches saying, “We would have won if we made 80% of our free throws instead of 40%”.

Free throws and face offs are part of the game.
