Who do you think is going to win and why?

Anonymous wrote:The back and forth on how individual posters are voting or what "women" in general will do is interesting but kind of irrelevant.

I think Harris is going to win because I think she's going to hold MI, WI, and PA and that is all she needs to do. I wasn't so sure about that a week ago but now I am. MI and WI are looking especially good for her so it will likely come down to PA and the ground game there is phenomenal. Plus Trump has made an unforced error with these comments about Latinos and Puerto Rico at that awful rally and he actually really need Latino voters in PA to win it.

So while I am sure Trump will get a bunch of votes (millions) from women in this election, I don't think he can win because I don't think he will get enough voters of any gender to vote for him in those three key states. And that's all she wrote.

I agree - though I really do think there will be a significant and meaningful number of secret Harris voters who have had enough - but also I am not ruling out a Harris landslide. Puerto Ricans were called out specifically and then they went on to insult Latinos in general and to insult immigrants again. Texas and Trump are polling close and while I’m expecting them to stay red, one just never knows when a group of people has had enough of being dehumanized.

I think her support with women is overcounted. The women who respond to the polls are mostly the liberal Trump haters and abortion single issue voters. Women who are supporting Trump, like me, quietly head to the polls and vote for him. Don’t put me and millions of other women in your pathetic grouping of “uniting” for a terrible candidate whose policies are destroying this country.

Woman and I agree. I’m pro-choice, but I’m not willing to vote solely on abortion in a Presidential election.

Women support each other since when?

I'm a woman and I'm voting trump. Just because she is a woman doesn't mean women have to support her. PP has this all wrong.

why?

Abortion is just not at the top of the list of things that impact a woman's every day life. Most women will never need or want one. The Dems have put all their eggs in the abortion basket, thinking that is the road to victory. That was a terrible mistake. The women that think abortion is a huge issue are already voting Democrat. Abortion isn't pulling over any other voters.

Correction- ( if republicans get their way ) almost all people will be impacted by reproductive healthcare bans in some way during their life times.

Carry on.

I don't think some of these posters are really paying attention to the level of anger out here in voterland. The voters, women and men, have never had a right that stood for almost 50 years stripped away before. They are angry that their daughters and sisters and wives and mothers and aunts and friends and colleagues and neighbors are going to have less fundamental rights in their lives than we had in this country for 50 years. That has never happened before.

No they are not. That's only happening in your little angry liberal bubble.

Exactly!

No, some of us can't even afford groceries. I need that fixed before I have time to worry about something that is most likely never going to impact me or my family

Good luck with that surprise ectopic pregnancy in your mid forties.

Oh and if Trump wins groceries are going to get a lot more expensive.

You want me to stress about something that has a less than 1% chance of happening? Really? That's going to convince me to change my vote?

You don't have any kids who will one day be trying for kids?

So weird that you're willing to give away your children's rights to pay $10 less for a bag of groceries.

PS - when the Trump Tariffs hit next year, that bag of groceries is going to cost $30 more than today. I've already booked marked this thread and set an Outlook reminder so I can bump it up.

You are comparing an intensely personal decision that affects no one but the family involved (whether to keep a pregnancy or not), with a vaccine mandate in the middle of a global pandemic that was aimed at keeping people from infecting each other and making a bad problem worse? You are not arguing in good faith.

But it's true. MY BODY, MY CHOICE. But I guess that only applies to issues you agree with

Yes. Folks, here is a real-live woman. Stop patronizing her! She’s fully aware of who is the current President, and you trample on her quiet, elegant, ladylike (but tuff!) dignity when you assume she values bodily autonomy.

You are patronizing me for having different views than you do. Implying that I’m not a real woman is asinine. I want stable prices, safe streets, and secure borders. Harris will not provide those things. If she wanted me to vote on abortion, she should have done something to solve the basic problems in the country. I can’t even get to caring about abortion because we have much more critical problems plaguing the country.

Men don’t care about the issue at all, and liberal Democrat women are the ones who are motivated by this issue. You are living in a liberal bubble and making a mistake of thinking everyone thinks the way you do.

Men don’t care about this at all? I disagree. A great deal of men care about the rights for their wives and daughters.

Lol. Go outside. Nobody is following the play by play slop of these campaigns. Nobody is consuming ads. It’s all a money laundering and embezzling scam.

No, but there are Puerto Rican and other Hispanic community leaders that are speaking out to their communities. There are already a lot of Latino leaders in Pennsylvania making it known that Trump has not condemned the comments made at his rally, other than to sweep it aside as a joke and that people need to be thick-skinned and take a joke, and that they should not be offended. And the community leaders are encouraging their communities to step up, go out and vote and vote against Trump. With nearly 500K Latinos in Pennsylvania and a Trump rally in Allentown today in the middle of a majority-Latino community, he's going to take a big hit.

It is quite likely that the MSG rally was Trump's undoing and will lead to a loss in Pennsylvania, whether or not he was going to win it before. With this happening less than 2 weeks before election day, this is going to foremost in Latino voters' minds when they go to the polls next week. And it will definitely drive many more Latinos to go out and vote even if they hadn't planned on doing so before. So, this may have been the biggest Latino GOTV move Trump could make. Unfortunately, it will work in Harris' favor.

This is flat out false. The primary means of ending an ectopic pregnancy is to use the medication Methotrexate. States like Indiana have banned this as a "medical abortion."
