From the report it seems the hang up was searching the child himself (his pockets). Although the assistant principal said no to searching the back pack, a few of the teachers went ahead and did it. But at that point the kid had already been asked if he had a gun in his backpack, to which he had said no, and then had taken it out of the back pack and put it in his hoodie pocket. I am not a teacher so I don't know what the rules are re searching a student. I would think that in this case where a weapon could be involved they could force it. |

"LaQuiche Parrott, the director of elementary school leadership for the district, eventually returned one of the files, but the special grand jury said it was missing all of its disciplinary records, including documentation about the choking incident in kindergarten. The other file was never located. Parrott told the special grand jury that she could not recall how she got the file, according to the report. The special grand jury found Parrott’s testimony 'highly suspicious' and wrote she should be investigated for obstruction of justice. Parrott did not respond to a request for comment." These utterly unqualified, inept, evil school administrators need to serve jail time and be blacklisted from ever working in education again. |

Do a cross country search; and first off, put some rules in place for employees and students to follow and enforce them. Behavior and consequences were not priorities for these administrators. |

If this is the same incident posted on Reddit and the same child, clearly something needs to be escalated. He is a danger and has not learned anything, if same child.
