Actually this. My best friend was German (was because horribly she died of breast cancer) and so I’m not saying all a Germans are complicit but I really don’t understand the rage Israel has for its neighbors when it’s Hilter’s Germany that did the most damage.

Honestly, I think there has been too many years of brainwashing of reality on one hand and too many years of oppression and punishment on the other (stirring up more hatred) I truly feel little hope. But I just read that the US is calling for a 21 day ceasefire in Lebanon. And I’m an optimist. If only our country would stop suppling the weapons. Please please.

While Jews were being slaughtered in European countries (inquisition in Spain, holocaust in Germany, pogroms in Eastern Europe, etc.), they sought safety and shelter in ARAB and muslim countries. It’s why before the creation of Israel, there were sizable Jewish populations all over the Middle East and North Africa. Where they lived in peace with their neighbors. My own Arab family had many Jewish neighbors in my home country. On Saturdays, it was their Muslim neighbors who would help them turn on lights, ovens, etc.
