Of course he will try to. And Meghan will probably eviscerate him. She's been preparing for this and keeping receipts the whole time, and it's clear he's a dunce.

But without him, nobody is interested in her. She can't stand alone. It's Harry people hire to do the speeches. He's the one with the memoir. When the breakdown comes people will be more interested in his side.

In time I predict you'll be sorely disappointed that your deranged fantasy won't come to fruition. But, in the meantime , it's enjoyable to know they're living rent-free in that unstable mind of yours .

At best this is a dysfunctional business that is desperate to hang into its position. While many of us would operate under different norms when it comes to our own families, those norms have never applied to the BRF.

We all know it’s ugly and unfair. But apparently no one wants to see it in print or hear it said out loud.

See, that's part of the charm of the royal family. It is a family, including family squabbles and family laundry. But still, family laundry doesn't need to be public.

As an American and someone who believes in the importance of family, I don’t find any of it charming. And you’re still applying traditional family norms to them. They are in the public eye and hold their positions because….they were born into a certain group of people who are related by birth whose ancestors acquired wealth and power in questionable ways. Being part of that “family” means nothing if you aren’t the monarch, the direct heir to the throne, or are willing to live your entire life supporting the monarch and the heir.

I guess I'm not sure what you're arguing. That they aren't a family? Or should behave better since they are a family? Or that you just think it's good entertainment and fine for Harry to write a tell-all book about his family and the current and future king and queen of England?

Did you read the first post? To be clear, I think Harry is fully within his rights to tell his story. Those claiming to be appalled that he’d “air his family’s dirty laundry” presume that his family operates as ours do. But it doesn’t. Given everything that the world has learned about the royals over the last 40 years, it’s baffling to me how people honestly can claim he “shouldn’t” be saying these things in public. And for Americans to side with the monarchy and act as though they are the epitome of class and morality - and that Harry is persona non grata for speaking out against them- is even more baffling.

I don’t think the Americans who don’t support H&M are “sid(ing) with the monarchy”, it’s just difficult to support people as tacky as H&M - it’s cringe-inducing.

And he is literally persona non grata - strictly by his own doing and choices.

He and his wife are all about the money.

Shoutout to American capitalism. It’s the American way, by way of British.

In this context, it is still "him" just from her side. She will be flinging mud at him and people will be interested to know just how much of a disaster he was. Or how awful there were to each other.

This is not some project fully independent of Harry or the BRF, he would still be very much entangled in this bit and thus it would still carry interest.

I'm sure she has enough damaging stuff about him and about his family that the dope probably spilled to her, that she can make this a protracted nightmare that the BRF, and Harry, would rather avoid.

And this is all assuming the BRF even comes to his rescue. Harry is completely useless without the coterie of assistants propping him up. Meghan has at least proven that she can hustle and make things happen on her own.

Meghan initiated the divorce, as well as the break up with the guy she was living with when she first connected with H.

Another lie from the British tabloids. According to Meghan’s girlfriends they were trying to get Meghan to go out and date. They were going to spend the summer traveling during gurl things. Meghan was set up with Harry via blind date. How is she going to spend the summer traveling with her girlfriends if she is living with a significant other. And why would her friends be interested in finding her dates if she is living with a SO. These are words from her multiple girlfriends mouths, not a rag tabloid interested in selling copies.

Why did any of us marry the people we married?

It's not that hard to figure out. She wanted more. Fame. Status. Money.

Apparently she wanted it A LOT, because her man child husband is a walking red flag.

She had to scrape and hustle for a decade to get that side role on Suits and was already being written out. Harry was her ticket.

Maybe, but people are interested in the royal intrigue. Everything that happens from this point on will be just between the tow of them since the BRF will have nothing to do with them going forward. I don't think people will be as interested in their domestic issues in Montecito. People are lapping up what Kate and Will said or did or what the Queen thought, that's what sells the books and documentaries.

Of course she would put this story out there through her gf to cover up her scurrilous ways.

She was still living with Corey when she started linking up with Harry.

Even your post shows how much they obfuscate. You say there were set up via a blind date, yet the Netflix doc says they met on Instagram .

They lie. All the time.

Netflix doc about their dramas? Sells like hotcakes.

Leadership something doc they "produced"? Didn't even register.

That tells you what people want from H&M. Not their ideas!

It's only the most interesting thing to people on here discussing it, and who know little else about them. Lots of people love them for lots of reasons, including their philanthropic work. Meghan def has a very close cadre of friends who are very protective of her and love her very much.

What else is there to know? Remove their connection to the BRF and do you think they would stand out in the sea of philanthropy?

Well Meghan was philanthropic prior to knowing and dating Harry. Actually received recognition from the UN on her charity work. Just because she was unknown to you does not mean she was unknown to others.

She wasn't a standout. No one knew her. I've probably spoken at more UN events than she had at that point, I just don't go about trying to curate a brand around it. You need money and/or status to be a standout philanthropist and she had neither.

She is relevant now entirely because of the racist, imperialist institution she is hellbent on destroying.

Even after having the post-royal family platform, their "Live to Lead" doc on Netflix tanked. Nobody cares about them apart from royal family drama and gossip.

Are you a standout ? Better yet, why aren't you a standout ? You could start by exiting thus thread IF you don't care about them .

She was 35 or thereabouts, Suits was ending, she needed money and a husband and she wanted to be famous and wealthy.

Who are you people who think you NEED a husband? Meghan had $15,000,000 when she wed Harry. She had her own money and frankly she was better off without him. She had money, her home, her charities and her blog. She was also receiving recognition for her philanthropy pre-Harry. Harry’s world brought unnecessary cruelty and drama, but hey there’s that love word. It has messed up plenty women throughout time.

Yup. It's especially nauseating watching a bunch of white people seemingly enamored with an institution that saw their ancestors as nothing but peasant trash . If you want to be a subject of the increasingly irrelevant , bland , stale, and purposeless nonsense called the British monarchy , move over there.

and yet she had to buy furniture from Ikea and sofa.com to supposedly furnish their first home?!? The delusion...
