Van Lifer couple camping in Utah national park - two weeks later fiancee arrives in FL alone

They look like flip flops to me too! And they could be male flip flops.

Her body was found close by, so, maybe she died in the van, but wasn't dumped yet. Would explain closing door when people passed, plus why park van so close to brush, and why so far down. I'd want the most wide open spot possible.

I wonder if her sandals were found on her body too

OP here: I think they are also male flip flops. My DW is the same size as Gabby (very petite) and her flip flops are tiny size 5s. In relation to the size of the rocks, those look like larger men's flip flops. I believe that is also Brian's hat on the dashboard.

I’m petite and wear a size 9.

What do you mean? This is the best time to run respectively. He’s in the best physical shape of his life, he could take sketchy physical labor jobs to stay off the grid, he has no ties to a specific community, his parents most likely gave him money, he had a headstart of 13 days post-crime to plan and run, hes experienced with living in rough terrain and his DNA isn’t in the system.

The only thing better would be military/sniper training.

You realize being on the run from the police is not really about being able to literally RUN, right?

He’s not really running now is he? He’s got to his safe zone because he had 13 days before a missing persons report was filed and another five-ish before the police even realized he was missing. They thought he was in that f**king house.

Now he just has to lie low in a rural area and not be seen by cameras or anyone who could recognize him from the internet or LEOs. Easier to do in South America.

Just?

Right next to the rear of the van is a a cut away in the brush that allows a person to hike into the dry river wash area. I believe on WebSleuths they've actually found that there is a crude log bridge right near the van that would to allow a person to hike into the clearing area.

Her body was found approximately 300 yards from where the van is parked.

They prove a timeline of death if they’re Gabby’s.

If they’re Brian’s he was just placed at the scene of her burial - not some ‘random’ attacker as PPs speculated pages ago

If they were Gabbys, it raises possibility she died in the van. With Brian. Or, she was still alive that day.

Meanwhile, the North Port Police Department said it had stopped looking for Laundrie in a 25,000-acre wildlife refuge where it had been focusing its search, adding that it "currently has no plans to conduct a major search of the Carlton Reserve today." The department said investigators had “exhausted all avenues" in the county park near Sarasota.

Authorities did not say Monday whether they were searching elsewhere for Laundrie.

He does have the advantage of being very nondescript looking.

Fluent in English, French, Spanish, Serbs-Croatian and Italian. He’s long gone. All Brian has to do is learn Spanish.
