| This is increasingly common and I find it so disgusting, sloppy, and un-masculine. Is it that difficult to put on socks and shoes or at least a pair of leather boat shoes or loafers? |
|
No, but it's more comfortable to wear flip flops.
Why should we care what you find disgusting, sloppy, or un-masculine? Why does your opinion matter to me? I value people for their characteristics, personality and behavior and not for superficial features like their looks, clothing or style. I find your personality and desire to control others to be pretty disgusting and unattractive. Is it that difficult to put on some etiquette and courtesy and let others dress how they want? |

| But women can? That makes no sense. |
| Dh's Adidas flip flops are super comfortable and he can walk all day in them w/o a problem. |
| I don’t care about anyone’s footwear until/unless we’re on a plane. |
| Agree with you op |
| Typical misandrist behavior. |
| why do you care if anyone, man or woman, is wearing flip flops "in public?" If you're talking about a 5-star restaurant (lack of formality), an investment banking office (unprofessional), or a welding shop (unsafe), sure, I can see why. But otherwise, someone's footwear choice is their own business! |
Flip-flops in public are trashy no matter your gender. |
